Suits - how will they write out Rachel?

Suits is back yippee!

However Meghan is obviously leaving so how do you think she will go?

Given who she is marrying they'd be tasteless to send her off in a car crash.

Yes but her and Mike have been strong and stayed together through so much. She wouldn't just leave! Hope it rings true to the characters however they choose to do it.

Maybe some noble cause elsewhere with keeping a long distance relationship?

MonaTheMoaner · 31/03/2018 11:11

Mike and Rachel are both leaving so they could either kill them off (hope not) or they move away for a job offer.

As a Suits fan, how has you avoided hearing about it?!

I'm not going to spoil anything but seriously - it's literally all over the net Grin

shirt · 31/03/2018 11:15

How HAVE you, obvs!

feral · 31/03/2018 12:01

Oh no really? I like speculation but not sure I like actually knowing in for sure.

I don't want Miike to leave too!

I actively avoid all spoilers!

Actually pleases in a way if Mike is leaving too - really hope it's for a happy reason!

feral · 31/03/2018 13:02

@shirt

You made me google. 😩

Whilst I don't want Mike (or Rachel) to leave, I am glad they are both leaving, as it gives the possibility for them to ride off into the sunset together, hopefully to a new land where legal cases are not quite as convoluted as they seem to be in NYC.

I did read there was going to be a Jessica spinoff, which would be great.

MongerTruffle · 31/03/2018 13:25

Netflix
There's a new episode every Thursday, and Netflix is the only company that has the broadcasting rights in the UK for the current season.

I think it's better for Mike and Rachel to be written out together, instead of them breaking up. The whole thing was centred around Mike (originally), so I think Suits is nearing its end.

Oh Gosh Blush I'm a bit out of the loop = is it 7 or 8?

NiktheGreek · 31/03/2018 16:47

Ooh I hope that's true about a Jessica spin off. I miss Jessica.

MongerTruffle · 31/03/2018 16:53

It's season 7.

cardoon · 31/03/2018 17:46

Thanks MT - that's my evening taken care of!

feral · 31/03/2018 18:16

A Jessica sin-off would be amazing!

I miss her wardrobe, woman looked great in everything 🙂

The last episode of this season will act as the pilot for the spin-off.

Oh dear and I see Katherine Heigl is joining the cast of Suits in Season 8. I like KH but she seems to be the kiss of death for TV shows, Grey's obviously being a notable exception! I liked both State of Affairs and Doubt but Doubt was binned off after only two episodes had been broadcast. (They eventually did broadcast the remaining shows last summer). The marvellous Dulé 'will always be Charlie Young' Hill bounced from there on to Suits, he must be wondering what he's got to do to stay away from the kiss of death.

Alas as the Jessica show will be on the USA network and The Good Fight on CBS, we won't get to see a crossover episode with Jessica Pearson and Diane Lockhart - now that would be good telly.

shirt · 03/04/2018 11:15

I can't see the point of Suits if Mike leaves.

Yorkshirebetty · 05/04/2018 06:24

A British Prince comes along, they go to Botswana on the third date and she ends up living in a Palace. No, that's too improbable Wink
