Is anyone watching this little gem of a programme. It is so lovely very nostalgic and sweet but not in a sickly way.

Lovely to see real craftspeople doing repairs and renovations properly, not bodging stuff like some other shows. (That vase could have been improved with a hammer though).

I didn't like the vase either Smile but the cuddly toy repairs have all made the owners cry , they are just beautiful. There was an elephant repaired and it was just so sweet .

I'm a fan too.
Fascinating to watch their painstaking work.
I could appreciate the workmanship in the vase but wouldn't want to live with it.
It's the memories that these pieces evoke in their owners which make them family treasures.
Just a lovely programme.

It's such a nice programme, nearly all the soft toy ones make me cry. And I am so impressed at the amount of time and care the restorers take and their obvious pride at handing back a completed article. I'm sure the first series was narrated by Bill Patterson too and his voice just gives you a reassuring hug too
