This is Netflix series is very quirky, and it took me awhile to get into it. Produced by Judd Apatow, who is the master of awkward conversations. Story is very LA, with everyone pretty much working in “the industry” . They have these strange LA habits, such as: drive everywhere and constantly, which you kind of expect, every meal is eaten out or is takeaway, no one ever cooks, even coffee in the morning is bought from a convenience store and brought back!
The story itself is actually quite deep, involving a rather unlikeable, sweaty, heroine with emotion problems and her nice guy boyfriend. If anyone else is watching this, I would be interested in hearing what you think.
