More recently I love anything with Nicola walker in. The one where she was dead but haunting her partner made me cry at the end. She's brilliant in Unforgotten too.
And Derry Girls is hilarious, the ability of the writer to inject the way teens are so caught up in their own world of boys, friends and socialising enough to ignore all the terrible stuff in the world whilst adding that in in the background via their parents takes some respect inducing skill.

Ooooh also love her - can you remember the name of that series?

I say this too much, but if you haven't you MUST watch Last Tango In Halifax.

I appear to be alone in picking Wolf Hall. To anyone who missed it and loves thoughtful, historical drama, I have to say it is superb. This thread has made me buy the DVD to watch it again, a first!
