Agree with Bug and Fussy. He was a very attractive man and came across as a real gent.

The swearing was when he used the f word during one of his 1990 shows on BBC1 It was completely in context IMO The BBC should have stuck by him IMO and didnt.

The bio documentary which ive linked upthread follows it.

I was so disappointed in this. Very disjointed, said nothing of his wife and children.

The talking heads programme after it was great though, particularly what the children remembered.

It was pretty bad, all over the place. And got some very crucial points wrong.

The documentary after was good though.

Sad to know that his last child was born after he died.
