Which won't be featuring Europeans in over sized costumes, sadly.

But we have Olly to play the Joker Grin

So- 3 from each team are singing this week, and then, amid much angst (probably) the mentor will have to ditch two. I think.

And then repeat the process next week. Grin

Here the songs they have chosen

TEAM OLLY
Lauren Bannon
Believer by Imagine Dragons

Kade Smith
Express Yourself By Charles Wright

Holly Ellison
Perfect by Ed Sheeran

TEAM WILL
Paige Young
Power by Little Mix

Tai
Jolene by Dolly Parton

Anna Willison-Holt
Master Blaster by Stevie Wonder

TEAM JHUD
Jake Benson
Sun Comes Up by Rudimental Ft James Arthur

Ross Anderson
Torn by James TW Version

Gayatri Nair
This Is Me by Keala Settle (The Greatest Showman)

TEAM TOM
Kalon Rae
California Dreamin - Sia Version

Eliza Gutteridge
Don't Kill My Vibe from Sigrid

Lucy Milburn
Gravity by Sara Bareilles

This week - first the first time in ages I feel ok but I did get out of the school trip I was meant to go on, as I ended up with a migraine on Sunday, that wiped out Mother's day and lasted til Tuesday before I felt properly human again.

And DD2 has broken her wrist, they put a half cast on it yesterday, and rang to day to say she has to go in to have it manipulated under anaesthetic in the morning. Which will be nice.

So it's all go, Chez Raahh!

Think you are right 84. No need to watch any more. We can discuss ways to disguise loo rolls next week at length.

The80sweregreat · 17/03/2018 22:27

Loo rolls are important. I have a fear of running out! An actual fear.

Raahh · 17/03/2018 22:27

nancy did she have glass clowns? My great -gran had a massive collection of glass clowns.

Freaky fuckers.

No -one wanted them when she dies, Grin

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs · 17/03/2018 22:28

Raah damn you! I had suppressed the memory of the glass clown my mum had in the 70s. Shudder

nancy75 · 17/03/2018 22:29

Yes! She had clowns & ornaments of a boy & girl who might have been shepherds & about 6 clocks, there was not an inch of surface in her living room that didn’t have an ornament!

Raahh · 17/03/2018 22:30

Well, I survived a whole night. And am still awake.

Except I have to get up early and get dd2 to the hospital for 7am. It's only a few miles away, so I don'rthave to get up too early, but still. It's Sunday

See y'all next week!

Thanks for the laughs all. See you next week.

Raahh · 17/03/2018 22:32

Sorry platypus Grin

I wonder how many of us have the same fear. Grin

Nancy they were everywhere, those clowns. And the 'rustic' ornaments.

They must have loved dusting in the 70's .

I have not ornaments. or dusters. Grin

Roussette · 17/03/2018 22:34

thanks Raahh and hope it goes smoothly for your DD tomoz

Nite y'all and thanks for the laughs!

Destinysdaughter · 17/03/2018 22:42

Thanks all! Watching St Patrick's Day TOTP right now, Boomtown Rats, U2 etc

StripySocksAndDocs · 18/03/2018 12:53

Just caught up. Two points to make:

A toilet roll cover doll would be embarrassed by that get up. Even if it were just the top or just the skirt.

Will has gone clean mad hasn't he. Muppet Killer? Why? Not just Muppets that are at risk there. Poor music.

The80sweregreat · 18/03/2018 13:10

destiny, i was a huge Boomtown rats fan and had most of the albums.
Then Bob stopped tearing up pictures of John Travolta and became Sir Bob!
Rat trap is a fabulous song.

Ickyockycocky · 18/03/2018 19:21

Just catching up with this. I liked Olly's three but Will WTAF? Oh and JH, what are you wearing?

dillite · 19/03/2018 00:04

I tried catching up with it today but lost all will to live after crazy eyed woman's cat in heat impersonation. It was dreadful.

I was OUT OUT last night to watch a Tchaikovsky concert at the Royal Festival Hall and have a fancy dinner at the OXO tower, so sadly (you know I am joking here, right?) had to miss it this week. I should be back next week though!

Pancakeflipper · 19/03/2018 10:02

Dillite - I don't think it was 'survivable' without the strength of the support tran on here. I am thinking about the hours lost on Saturday night and could have been spent cleaning out the shoe cupboard...

And I am laughing at the thought of you coping with such dirge after your wonderful evening of culture. Special event? Or your average night out at the Dillite household? What did you have to eat??

StripySocksAndDocs · 19/03/2018 11:21

I should be able to return to being live on this thread as Ireland's Got Talent is finishing up this week.

Probably mean I'll use fast forward a lot less (but wish I could) and all my bad thoughts get written down.

dillite · 19/03/2018 16:46

pancake it truly was dirge! I only ever watch it because of this thread as we tend to talk about anything but what's on the tv.

It was my mum's birthday treat. Usually I take her on a mini holiday but this year I am poor so dinner and a concert it was. I had grilled mackerel with a salad and then seared scallops for my main. It was delicious. We got to sit by the window where we just watched snow fall over London. I think she enjoyed it, which is all that matters.

Ickyockycocky · 19/03/2018 19:33

After Olly's three it was downhill all the way.

Pancakeflipper · 19/03/2018 20:11

Your mum must have loved it. Very spoilt mum Sounds amazing.
We were just warbling on about the wardrobe dept.
