whenever anyone gets married in a soap they supposedly get their dress made by a neighbour and their and make up done by some novice yet they look suspicously like they are wearing some beautiful designer dress and have spent hours in a salon?

and they always have their reception in the local pub, and everyone is invited along with a few complete strangers thrown in to bump up the numbers

yet the poor bar maid never gets invited (poor Tracy in Eastenders must know most people better than anyone!)

And they never even end up getting married, do they? All that effort, and for nothing (humph).

Also, if anyone has a baby in a soap, it is the quietist most well-behaved baby ever, and you hardly ever see them.

Remember when sunita in Coronation Street had just come out of hospital after having twins? She was ironing babygros!!!!

And they stay babies for years, always in the background asleep. Then all of a sudden, they're saying 'I HATE YOOOOOOOOOOOOUU' and walking about with their pants showing.

Yes, and the always replace the character with someone prettier or good looking.

Yes, I used to play it really loud on my way to work, along with my martine mccutcheon album. I used to sing along really loud as well. Dh loves it when I serenade him in the car.
