Any fellow BCAS members still about? We faded out a while back, but I spotted this photo on Twitter yesterday and had to share. It's to promote the new Patrick Melrose on Sky Atlantic in May and I must say he's looking pretty hot! It did reignite a certain smouldering spark Wink

I'm looking forward to this. I read ages ago that they were his favourite books and started reading but never finished so might get on that before it starts.

Oooh how exciting. Hope some are around to enjoy with me.

Oh wow, it's been a long time!

I was an early Cumberbatch fan on here but I've been through many namechanges.

Thank you for starting this. I had read about this series and was more generally wondering 'What's Benedict doing next?' (last thing I saw was The Child in Time).

I haven't read the books and know nothing about them, so it'll all be fresh for me. He is looking quite fine in the pic Smile

Yay, thanks for joining me Tom. They have all 5 books on Amazon as one kindle book for about £8ish. I've got the first already but I'll get that when I've read it. I didn't watch the Child in Time as looked a bit harrowing and I'm trying to avoid that kind if dark stuff on tv. There are too many depressing things on tv! Not sure what Melrose will be like but the trailer looks good.

I can't believe we are the only ones around. The BCAS was a pretty lively thread before. Hers a DM link to the tea drinking video as the other link has been taken down and I can't find it anywhere else . It's worth a watch, oh to be that cup if tea Wink

I know, where is everyone?! Maybe post in Chat instead? Telly Addicts is fairly quiet usually.

I didn't find The Child in Time all that harrowing, tbh. It was really focused on the fallout and how people's lives continued after the child disappearing. It wasn't all that good if I'm honest Grin; I haven't read the book but it had the whiff of something that (necessarily given it was only a one-off) had chopped/elided a lot. It seemed a bit rushed and at the same time quite full of gaps.

The trailer for Melrose is on Sky if you have it. Made DH watch it last night and he thought it looked good, but he said "We will be watching that then?" Um, yep!

I do have Sky, yes, thanks!
