Did anyone think it was any good. Looking at the first episode I thought it was probably going to be rubbish but then thought it showed signs of being a decent enough mystery. However, watching the final episode I couldn’t believe how much rubbish it really was. How did those good actors get mixed up in it? I felt as if we had been duped into wasting several hours watching something beyond ridiculous. What a waste of licence payers money.

Yeah I quite enjoyed watching it but the last episode ruined it really, whole concept was ridiculous

MotherOfWurzel · 17/03/2018 01:41

Yep, started with promise and then lost it. I watched it all in about a week when it came onto iplayer. Could not for the life of me get past why they didn't just do a DNA test

MyCatIsAPsychopath · 17/03/2018 01:43

I really enjoyed episodes 1-5 but episode 6 was a complete let down.

BitOfFun · 17/03/2018 04:14

I bingewatched it two or three weeks ago. Can't remember a thing about it, which says something.

zizza · 17/03/2018 07:00

I gave up partway through no 3! Found I didn't really care what was going on 😂😂 Glad I didn't waste anymore time on it.

HappydaysArehere · 17/03/2018 08:14

Agee, some parts were reasonably interesting; at least enough to keep us watching....until the last episode. What the hell was that all about!

Yes I binge watched it and then got to the end and thought what a waste of a day. Bizarre really, so much promise at times but left feeling deflated by the ending.

woodhill · 17/03/2018 08:25

Yes it was just stupid

woodhill · 17/03/2018 08:25

And that daft music

AmethystRaven · 17/03/2018 08:28

I have scoured the Internet for clues as to what the ending was all about, and absolutely no one has any idea whatsoever! Such a disappointment. It suddenly went from spooky and interesting to stupid and confusing.

TonTonMacoute · 17/03/2018 11:48

Promising start, tailed off quite quickly rubbish ending. I didn’t really understand what on Earth it was all about.

It might have been better if it had only been two episodes, but in the end I rather resent the time I wasted watching it at all.

EggysMom · 17/03/2018 11:56

I binge-watched after the first episode. Thought the ending was really poor, could have been finished in a number of better ways. Someone had a good idea for a story but didn't know how to write the ending.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS IN MY POST!!

I liked it until the last ep too. What happened when she went into that doorway? Why did they make seeing the moon through a chimney so significant? Why was her accompanist naked and eating sheep? What was the distinction between the 'thin ones' and the 'other ones' that Sean went on about?

Another thread on here said it was conceived as a two-series thing, so maybe some of the loose ends are meant to be tied up in the second one? (such as why there were only four graves at the end and what the Aussie heir's exact money problems were).

Could not for the life of me get past why they didn't just do a DNA test I think they addressed that – Trudy (I think) asked and someone else said 'Can you see them agreeing to it?'

WinstonlovesJulia1984 · 17/03/2018 18:04

I watched the whole thing and ended up wishing I hadn't. It didn't need to be so long - it could have been done in 3 or 4 episodes. The loss of momentum meant that by the end I really didn't care.
