blame I was hoping for a double sepsis death. I'm horrible though.

A lot of it about in tv/ radio land at the moment. Call the Midwife and the archers apparently) have had sepsis deaths.

Well, my phone call from school earlier was to tell me that dd2 had fallen in the play ground (at lunch time) and was ok, but was complaining her hand was a bit sore.

Half an hour later , I got another call to say she was very teary, and tired. So I went to pick her up. Dh took her to a and e and it turns out she has a fractured wrist that was border line for surgery so she doesn't need a full cast, just a half one (so it isn't pink, like mine was , which she's disappointed by ). But I don't recommend wrist surgery. I was 20 weeks pg with dd1 when I broke mine- and as it was so bad, ended up with surgery, the nerve block didn't work whilst I was in theatre and I had to have a general. (The same thing happened in the middle of my second c-section when the spinal wore off- and I felt everything ...)

I have a plate in my wrist that on the x-ray looks like a mini garden rake .

This means yet more trips to the hospital next week (and I already have an appointment with ds). Good thing I'm only a few miles away. I may need to take out a loan to pay the parking fees though...

I missed it again today and your ramblings are ummm...incomprehensible. It appears it was Christmas. And no Ashley. Didn't miss much then.

raahh sorry to hear you've ha such a dramatic day (better plot line in your life than in Letherbridge today?) and here's hoping all is now as well as it can be.

Fuzzy DD2 was quite happy with her cast when she got home. But the novelty is now wearing off . I did feel sorry for her when i picked her up from school- she was more upset that she had made a hole in her tights. I must be a real ogre . (She's got more pairs of tights than enough so it really isn't a big deal!).

Ohh raahh and mini raahh what a day ! to distribute as required.

Dd2 has been in hospital today to have her wrist manipulated under anaesthetic. We had to be there at 7am, and didn't get discharged til 3, so she was getting a bit fed up. She's very anxious about hospitals because of the enema she had to have the other week- in contrast, I think she preferred this!

Hopefully it will heal in 4-5 weeks. It's been another washout of a weekend though!

( and she's still very disappointed not to have a pink cast- which I did when I broke my wrist. She's Ben told they might replace the one she has in the fracture clinic in a week)

Ben ? I can confidently say Ben had nothing to do with it!
