Was barry the man in black ? I'm watching on my phone and couldn't quite tell ?
I think I've been watching too long the counsellor story was an obvious set up.
Hope jimmi does report him not that it will be mentioned again
If vashley do get married I hope Jeffrey is giving her away. Bear

NutButterNutter · 14/03/2018 14:22

Never seen it and don't really get it. I didn't watch properly yesterday but it's not self-contained enough for afternoon TV. Plus it finishes after I have to leave on he school run which is VERY ANNOYING. I thought it was the Aussie doctor one at first but it isn't...

NutButterNutter · 14/03/2018 14:24

Blame you're too good - I always get sucked in!!
Vashley cannot continue...

FuzzyCustard · 14/03/2018 14:24

Yes...we've seen some of it. Australian family saga featuring some rich people in the big house, some heart-of-gold "Bruce-style" farmers, the (very) occasional Aborignal and several people with a range of "issues".

And they all live in a place called "Inverness".

FuzzyCustard · 14/03/2018 14:29

Memorable moments...Regina (forgot whose relation she is) went completely off piste and married the hero-type blok. WHo is apparently only 4'7" and probably stands on a box a lot. His current paramour, (a Jewish lady who was something to do with the French resistance) therefore has to wear flat shoes all the time which is a shame as she has large feet.
Jack the Dr in the cottage hospital apparently got his bollocks mashed between two bricks by the Japanese in the War.
James is gay but has moved to England with his wife. Who had a pretend baby.
The matriarch used to be hideous but has mellowed into a smiley/smirky lady though singing to homeless people.

There...it's al clear now, isn't it?

NutButterNutter · 14/03/2018 15:01

Wow Fuzzy that is a good summary of a, er, tale of woe

FuzzyCustard · 14/03/2018 15:12

It's not a patch on Letherbridge.

toldmywrath · 14/03/2018 15:41

Fuzzy that's an excellent précis. I have watched all four previous series, once you start you're hooked.
Can you remind me of the storyline re.the Italian man Gino and his wife (used to live in the big house)She was writing an expose on Regina, but I think they separated..

I was waiting for Russian Doll man's wife to appear. Bet she's a size ten and likes to dress in tent type dresses.

I said to my DD, I only own two dresses, your Dad will have to keep washing them.

Fuzzy Grin

that's amazing .

I need to meet this short man.

I tried to read the synopsis on wiki, and even that confused me. And come on, I've been watching Doctors for donkeys years. You'd think i'd be used to confusing convoluted plots by now. Grin.

All I have gleaned is, rather like The Sullivans, Australian soaps like to make the war last 10 times longer than it actually did Grin.

FuzzyCustard · 14/03/2018 16:04

PTCH is in 1958 now.
Gino (can't say that without singing some Dexy's) got rid of Anna (the blonde expressionless author of THE ONE BOOK) because not only can she not have children, she failed to tell him. And him being a good Catholic, he wanted hordes of the little buggers. And he never had a shave so resembled Fred Flintstone much of the time.

(I need a life, don't I? In my defence DH has cancer and we've spent a lot of time over the past 18 months or so watching the telly!)

FuzzyCustard · 14/03/2018 16:07

Oh Gino planted vines but they would take 20 years to mature and he's gone well before then. Someone else will have to make the wine.

Raahh · 14/03/2018 16:17

oh FuzzyFlowers hope everything with your dh is as ok as it can be,

FuzzyCustard · 14/03/2018 16:48

Thanks raahh It's a blooming lousy job but enables us to laugh at daytime telly as much as we like!

FuzzyCustard · 14/03/2018 16:49

PS At least I didn't do an Ashley and beggar off!

Raahh · 14/03/2018 16:59

Grin Fuzzy that was very good of you Grin

blamethecat · 14/03/2018 18:46

Hi fuzzy Flowers I was in your position a couple of years ago, dp is doing well now but I know it can be really hard. He uses to message me about doctors when he was in hospital having chemo Grin.

FuzzyCustard · 14/03/2018 19:09

raahh I have standards! (Although if you ever see me in an AA advert, you'll know what's happened!)

cat so pleased to hear your DP is doing well now. That's great stuff!

Now, back to Letherbridge and the shop that sells Valerie's clothes. Is it Mothercare for the Over 40s?

FuzzyCustard · 14/03/2018 19:11

Here is Valerie's next outfit. Beat that!

oh my eyes Grin

Fuzzy that is very Val.

Twistofanxiety · 14/03/2018 19:59

Hi y'all. I love Ashley. Not to marry of course because HE IS ALREADY MARRIED but he really makes me laugh. I also think Helen will turn out to be pregnant or because Ashley has form for running away.

blamethecat · 14/03/2018 20:18

fuzzy where did you find that magnificent sweater Shock are you the scriptwriter?

toldmywrath · 14/03/2018 22:48
