i thought that was really sad. he must be brave and desperate to release this. i hated watching it.

poor dd too, i have seen my dad at his lowest like this and as a child i felt so let down .

I think that is why they have shown it on Newsround

not sure what i think of them showing on cbbc - good thing i suppose

i felt sorry for him and his daughters and iu hope his soon to be ex wife does not achieve what she intended by leaking this and getting a better divorce deal.

They were tlaking about how different children live at home with different circumstances

true, agree with you fio he has probably been hell to live with, but this wasn't very considerate of their daughters feelings. She must feel awful looking at her 'pathetic' dad in real nevermind splashed all over the world.

I just assumed he'd made it public for a bit of sympathy/publicity as I hadn't heard much about him for a while.

It sais on Newsround that if children were living with a parent like that who to contact (and was also making kids aware that alcohol is a problem)

dd1 was watching it withmy xh (sober alcoholic) so that was interesting him answering her questions

On GMTV, they said that his daughter had threatened to film him if he got paraletic again so she was just doing what she said she would do, bless her. A bit low of the exwife to release it though but it might help him in the long run to buck his ideas up?

I've always been a big Knight Rider fan so I found it really hard to watch but I hope he manages to sort himself out.

Awful as it seems, it could turn out to be a positive turning point for him!?
