...And remembering how much I bloody love Margot. She was such a great friend to the Goods - they turn up for dinner (am convinced she kept having dinner parties for them because she was worried about them not getting enough to eat) in a low mood, and she immediately offers them her (Jerry's, as he points out) cheque book, and then to look after their "grubby animals" so they can have a weekend away - despite it being the last thing she wants to do.

We should all be so lucky to have a Margot Leadbetter in our lives.

I love Margot too. Kind to the end despite herself.

To think we laughed at her Christmas being delivered in a van.

Gold. DH is away for the night so I get to watch what I want and cook what I like (I made an amazing risotto, if I do say so myself).

I get told I have hints of Margot in my behaviours which amuses me greatly. Oh her and a bit of Pam from Gavin and Stacey haha! I love Margot. Yuletide Felicitations never ceases to cheer me up

I love it, I've got the whole set of dvds, the whole lot on sky recorded and I watch it whenever it's on gold!!

was thinking about this show this morning, as I let the chickens out, worrying I miht be turning into Barbara....but I am considerably older than her and my chicken keeping outfits less fetching I fear.

I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed this year's ago. That episode where Margo was appearing in a production of Sound of Music!
