Has Katie been leader yet? I think she would have been fired in either of the past 2 weeks if anyone had had the sense to bring her into the boardroom.
Is it filmed recently? Are they still filming now and if so do they watch it?

it's filmed a few weeks in advance i think. at least that's what the PR would have me beleive but sometimes i'm not sure...

On the Adrian Chiles followup programme (can't remember what it's called) he asked Paul something about had he seen Katie again since? So it was obviously after the end of the whole thing or since she came out? Dunno, maybe I was reading too much into it.

There's a clue to the dates in the fact that when Paul tried to sell the sausages to the Halal butcher he said it was Ramadan - so when was Ramadan?

Sorry, the Eid at the end was October 20 something so I guess Ramadan was the weeks before that.

Was just thinking of starting a thread about Adam myself when I saw this one.

Does anyone else think he is being completely 'discriminated' against by all the others purely because he is from the north and has a strong accent?

I do - and I think it is awful for him. As far as I can see, he is not the worst person there by any means (Giselle (or whatever her name is) seems pretty bad for a start!)

Am reading this after posting (drr) - agree with another poster that he is just a straight talking northerner (just like my DH too) - and it obviously gets right up those southerners noses!!

I have a sneaky penchant for him (although I am 38 weeks pg and would probably shag Bob Carolgees given the opportunity) and I also think that there is some real snobbery amongst some of the others - Katie in particular is dreadful. I don't know if you already read Grace Dents Column but she has a great take on The Apprentice each week, and picked up on a particularly unpleasant comment by Katie about how Adam would have been in the "C stream at school and therefore she wouldn't have had to have had anything to do with him" . For that reason alone, he should win IMHO.

he is unutterably boring though... just repeats himself all the time. i can't believe the things katie says, though, they're really stitching her up.

Out of all the candidates, I fear for Katie once the programme ends. She's not exactly endearing herself to the public. She's gonna get slaughtered, me thinks.

I luuuurrrrrrrrve Adam. He is yummy! Dewy eyes and plummy lips compensate for his monotone voice and dour demeanour. Adam does have a degree but he is disliked by the others because he is a northener with a strong accent. He is not an outstanding performer like Tre or Lohip or even Christina but he tries and more often than not, he delivers.

I agree with speedy - they're snobbing up on Adam cos he's from Lancashire (as am I) and properly gorgeous too (tho v.v. boring). Katie is just a horse-faced old hag who'd make a fantastic society wife for a London stockbroker one day - as so many on the ones I have come across are a clone of her. She's the most insincere person I've ever seen - Tre however - you gotta love him - you go Tre!!

Tre makes for good TV but I can't say much more than that. Would probably be the last I'd employ.

It's filmed well in advance - the outcome is already known but a closely-guarded secret. The Macro/France episode was December. Clues - dark at 5pm, and Christmas lights. So why the Muslim chap was still fasting for Ramadan I'm not sure.

And why there are trees in full leaf in some shots I'm not sure either - I think all the taxi/overhead shots are obviously done in a batch at the start, including the "getting into the taxi in long coats" bit. But last night, Adam was talking about being fired, with sunlight and leafy trees whizzing past outside. Eh??
