Am I the last person in the universe to watch The Walking Dead ?

I always thought it sounded a bit rubbish ( but then I was probably too busy watching The Crown and other such)

Last evening DH had finally run out of subtitled scandanavian drama so we thought we might give this a go, as lots of people had said it more apocalyptic drama with some zombies rather than zombie apocalyptic dram IYSWIM. Well , we are well through 1st series & might have a few more today.

I know I know very late to the party , but by heck Egg has grown up a bit since he shared that flat in Islington in the 90s with the other trainee lawyers hasn't he - I do realise lots will be too young to remember that !

I know that whatever I have said will have already been said but , Johnny come Lately here - admit freely ....

We are always late to the big things to watch. When I watched The Sopranos it had finished about 3 years previously.

Have you tried Game of Thrones yet? They were on series 3 when I bowed to pressure.

Daffodil - I am a fully paid up member of the coming lately to the Big thing. Ds and I watched Game of Thrones way after it started and everyone was talking about it. In my defence I think the advantage of coming lately is you can download the next episode rather than having to wait for next week. So my love of instant gratification will probably win out over my need to be in the forefront of current talked about series. But I do realise I look like ( and indeed am ) something of a dinosaur when it comes to TV series. But Egg - he was so drippy in This Life and I didn't like him in Love Actually - & now he is defending his family and friends against zombies. Well , as DH said , " I suppose that's acting for you "

I cannot get into TWD though DH and DS are huge fans.

I won't do a spoiler but there was a huge incident when we finally met Negan, it was late Oct 2016.
We were on holiday abroad so DH/DS had to wait a week.
I found out (through MN of course) and kept telling DS if he was a little git , I'd whisper in his ear as he slept. Kept him on the straight'n'narrow.

IMO, its running its course now. I really don't care about any of them.
