Maybe Vincent will call his mum, she could suffocate Aidan with her enormous chest

She didn’t have an enormous chest, she had a magnificent bosom!

SoupDragon · 09/03/2018 14:51

I hope AidAn comes on through the door of the Vic (having hitched his horse up outside) and we see him as a silhouette. If only the Vic had proper saloon doors.

Akire · 09/03/2018 14:53

Thought car man was someone Phil had rang to find out the business. Though why he couldn’t have talked on the phone... though how someone who knew Aiden would also know what’s happening with Mel and Ceira.

Surely there are enough regulars around to say to Aiden if they try anything then 300 locals will kick their ass?

arriettyspiders · 09/03/2018 14:53

True, and it is rather annoying when someone ignores it. I think I was accused of living under a rock on a previous thread for not knowing Mel was returning (spoilered via a 'guess' at the time).
Anyway, let's hope there's no more of that to come.

The80sweregreat · 09/03/2018 14:57

dame, yep, they never go away from the square to fetch their shopping. Dot went to a garden centre once and got lost! its a rare thing though.
i am always in one so i am doing something wrong, obvs
there is a spoiler thread on mumsnet, but nobody goes on it much,
yes, it is a bit 'high noon' and saloon doors would be fun or Aidan on a horse cantering about.
There was a mini series once on the BBC and it was a similar story of a pub landlord waiting to be beaten up - nobody could help him either as the guy doing it was a maniac. a one off drama 'the street' i think it was called.

Curlyshabtree · 09/03/2018 15:02

I think Ted and Patrick have something to do with what happens.

Akire · 09/03/2018 15:15

To me it’s like watching a new film
Every week 2 hours worth. Why would you want to know all the major plots and twists before you watch it. You just wouldn’t ! But Because it’s in 4 parts everyone thinks it dosnt count.

iknowimcoming · 09/03/2018 15:43

Very true akire - back in our 'yoof' long before we were married dh and I ended up at the cinema with no idea what to see so we watched Pacific heights (Melanie Griffiths, Michael modine and Michael keating if you're interested!) we'd never seen so much as a trailer and knew nothing whatsoever about it and it was one of the best movies I've seen because of that

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/03/2018 16:05

Every thread there’s always one spoiler 😡🙄

Luckily this one had been deleted before I read it or I would be very pissed off and start ranting ........

Title says no spoilers. There is a thread for spoilers

Dogs- what happened in the end of that film they are copying? Who killed him?

qazxc · 09/03/2018 16:54

Bloke with Mel was the van driver and lover of ciara.

Ted seems to be hanging around quite a bit, with a semi knowing look. Pity he no longer has that gun.
Shirley has form with shooting people.
Tina, well only if driving a car, btw why do they let her drive with Olly in car?

Maybe just leave the door to the roof open, that seems to be where most people meet their doom.

Thebirthdayparty · 09/03/2018 17:05

I didn’t read it either but nobody can kill Aidan as someone said on the thread earlier that he has a long contract. Anyway EE love villains. It’s normal life in the squaaaaaare.

southeastdweller · 09/03/2018 17:19

The long contract comment was just speculation.

nancy75 · 09/03/2018 18:09

Giving it some proper thought (no life) Will they kill Aidan yet? I think he’ll beat up Mick today & then at some point have a show down with Phil about Ben/ Sharon/ the random teeth. Then he’ll die.
At the moment Phil isn't involved to be one of the who done its, and surely we need to find out more about the random box o teeth

Akire · 09/03/2018 20:32

Whohoooo good call on who ever said Phil would save the day. Hopefully that’s it!!

What was with all flowers over table? Thought Phil chest pain and fall but then table by sofa had vase over as well?

SoupDragon · 09/03/2018 20:33

Phil had to save the day really.

NotACleverName · 09/03/2018 20:34

Phil Mitchell: what a legend 👏🏻

youarenotkiddingme · 09/03/2018 20:37

Go Phil!

And now we know what happened to Luke!

MotherofaSurvivor · 09/03/2018 20:38

For all the critics on here, you have to hand it to them.... That was impeccable. I have Goosebumps and very nearly tears in my eyes when Phil looked at Mick

FurryDogMother · 09/03/2018 20:46

That was all very strange - people seemed to actually be acting. There was atmosphere, there was a moment of 'that's why they're together' with Sharon and Phil. There was Mick doing his stoic thing, and then there was SuperPhil. I was rather disappointed that Halfwit didn't send the local army cadets to turn up en masse, but the whole pub thing was like a scene from West Side Story. Loved it, but also laughed a lot where I'm not sure I was supposed to. Bloody brilliant :)

iknowimcoming · 09/03/2018 20:50

Yay it was great tonight, like old times! Omg - how many points do I get for halfway confessing and the teeth's being Luke's?

Funny how Shazza is shaping up to be a gangsters mol - lol! Thank god he's gone - maybe we can really get back to the good old days now! Was a bit gutted about the trailer at the end! AngryAngry

#########################################################################

!!for those who haven't watched tonight's yet - there's a huge trailer/spoiler at the end of tonight's episode - avoid!!

Figgygal · 09/03/2018 20:57

Much better and hopefully that is the last thing we see of him

The Luke resolution was unexpected though as soon as Phil knew about Shazza I thought he'd come to the rescue

feebeemee · 09/03/2018 20:58

Another one who really enjoyed tonight's episode. Aidan being punched back through the Vic doors made me cheer (watching alone so no one to judge how over invested I am!)

Curlyshabtree · 09/03/2018 21:04

Loved it! Great to find out what happened to Luke as well.

DameSquashalot · 09/03/2018 21:09

I thought Linda was going to come back and save the day. I'm pleased we don't have to endure Aidan's tedium any longer.
