I'm guessing we all knew what Mick was up to with the 'forgotten' wallet, but Linda seemed oblivious!

There will be some cliff hanger with Mick being close to death then Phil walks in to save the day. Is my guess. Though I was wrong about the hitman, so am not good at this.

I quite liked it tonight and was hoping that Patrick and Ted were going to save the day at one point - that would've been ace! My prediction is halfway is going to save the day via Whitney with some info on Aidan that will bring him daaaan! And I reckon that Vincent, jack, billy, ted etc will all turn up to back mick up after all. One good thing about all the nonsense is I actually do WANT someone to save the day, I'm starting to like mick and the carters again. Also was that a new head Ollie on Tuesday? He was v cute with his lines as was the adorable pearl tonight - can you tell I have moody teenagers? Wink

Brooding Mick, post Sade dance fueled by half a lager, is ready, poised and waiting, like a well oiled lean, mean, killing machine. How will we bear the wait? This is more tense than D's one GCSE result.

Aiden is more like a pantomime villain than a nasty gangster. Does seem a weird storyline, I mean why did he randomly just turn up in Albert Square to terrorise it? Why meet up with Phil now after all these years?
Actor Patrick Bergan has aged a lot since sleeping with the enemy.

I still don't understand why the Carter's are so attached to the vic, it's hardly full of lovely memories.
Also surely it would make more sense to sell cocaine out of E20, a lot less obvious and a client demographic that is more likely to buy.
I think they should bring back ciara to get rid of Aiden, he seemed wary if not scared of her at the time of the heist.

Shirley's line about being doomed because Billy wasn't available to come to their rescue made me laugh.

So silly of Linda to believe Mick was going back to get his wallet especially at 7.55pm. Aidan could have been early etc.

The Carters are fine when they are being 'normal'. The line about just wanting to run a family pub is 'real' and while I don't want 'realistic' storylines of humdrum daily life about bins, it is nice to see actors saying realistic things. If it wasn't for the silly 'showdown' business, the last two episodes of EE have been the best for a long time.

Surely Mick should just cut his losses and leave? He even knows himself that he can’t defeat Aidan. If Aidan really is as dangerous as Phil makes out, surely he won’t be scared of Billy and Vincent?

Either that or every man in the square turns up to kick Aiden's head in vigilante neighbour style.

So we could have a "Who killed Aidan?" situation. Like Archie, and when Phil was shot (there were probably others).

I wonder if Shirley rejoined Tina or decided to hang around the Square...

reading this thread has made me wonder about halfway now - that little bit on the webcam did seem to be ' shoehorned' in with all the other weird stuff going on, makes me wonder why?

I think that sharon looked dodgy too ( not the make up, just her lurking around ) plus, why do they always have plastic carrier bags and not the ' bags for life'? ( why dont they ever go to a proper supermarket for their big shop?)

Agree about halfwit, realistic as it was. Why did Whitney think him knowing Aiden would be able to call off the dogs? Surely he was just part of the second gang, as useless as the first. Unless he’s going get crack team of soldiers to turn up to the Vic at 8.01. Though Aiden surely isn’t going show up he be lurking in bush doing his smoking impression.

Did Tina and Ollie get off safe? Or are they waiting by chippy for SHIrl to finish with Phil?

Kim wouldn't get her nails broken over Aidan. even if they have lost the Albert ( which she does not seem upset about really)

Linda has turned a bit 'ard lately so could be her and Sharon in it together maybe? or even Mel or Jay. it could be any of them if we're all thinking that Aidan gets the push of course! he might not.
