it's great jr is nasty from the off. though Gary is different to the one in knot's landing, they got through a few cast changes iirc

D'you remember how in Knot's Landing, they had Gary crying and mourning because Bobby had died - somehow they never got round to mentioning him again when it turned out that it had actually all been a dream
