Help me remember a TV show from the early 00s!

Just watching Back In Time For Dinner with Sara Cox. Can anyone remember the first time they did this sort of thing back in the 00s? (Way before the Giles Coren one). It was a family with 2 (or 3?) daughters and they had to live in a house from the 1900s (I think!) it was a bit like a historic Big Brother. I remember the Mum escaping to the corner shop to buy head and shoulders as she was desperate to wash her hair! Can anyone remember what it was called?

I think I remember this, although it was on repeat in about 2007 so might be too 'new'. Very interesting though!

Also I remember casualty 1905 (I think) with Alfie Allen in it. It was fictional but really moving thinking how life must have been.
