Hi trying to find a tv series for my son age 11.
Finding it hard as he is a bit old for cartoons but not quite old enough for some of the tv series aimed at teens/pre teens

A Series of Unfortunate Events

We have watched the series of unfortunate events, it was quite dark for a kids show!

Scorpion. Geeks save the world.
Timeless - time travellers go to well known historical events.

Full House

The fresh prince of Bel Air

All the Star Trek series are on there if he likes sci-fi. But you might end up growing yourself a Trekkie. My ds(9) has become somewhat obsessed! Grin

Sillysausage123 · 26/01/2018 19:37

Which Star Trek is best watching first as there is so many?
The latest one is a 15 rated so I'm not letting him watch that

Thank you for all the suggestions

Just Add Magic is on Prime. It's great. I'm watching Red Dwarf on Netflix with my 12 yr old.

HoundOfTheBasketballs · 26/01/2018 19:41

You can start with either the original series from the sixties with William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy etc.
Or The Next Generation is the best place to start with the more recent ones. Deep Space Nine and Voyager follow on after that.
I didn't realise the new one was rated 15. We watch together every week. Major parenting fail on my part. Blush

Annedroids on prime

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 26/01/2018 22:48

Star trek is great! Would also start on next generation or voyager.

Fresh prince of bel air - my 9 yr old dd enjoyed it!

What about pokemon? Still a cartoon but not childish. There is other anime on netflix too but i would watch first as some might be too graphic. My friends dd watched attack on titan but i wouldnt let my dd as shes pretty sensitive and the giants freaked me out 😂

Top gear? Im sure all the old ones are on netflix.

Breaking the magicians code on Netflix.
Full house, fuller house.
