Anyone remember end of last series?

I can't remember what happened but I remember being disappointed enough to tell myself not to bother if they did a second series.

Yes, this! Although I have since spotted the serial killer from the first series in several things since then.

Didn't bother with last 2 episodes it was so bad and I'll watch anything.

I watched it, thought it was hokum, but still quite enjoyed it. Racking my brains to try and remember what it was all about though

Lady Edith from Downton was in it, can't remember if she lived or died. There were some town planners, and Marcella's husband was possibly a wrong 'un.....

Yes Plumes, lots of town planners and possibly a memory lapse... I think she might have been divorced though, not sure!

Our reaction to the second series was disbelief! The overacting of Marcella was really off putting until we lost patience with it. Why, why, why is it returning?

I can’t remember very much about it but I think I quite liked it!

Ffs, I despair! how could itv recommission that crap and not another series of Home Fires, which was excellent, great cast with strong female characters?
