Recommendations like Merlin?

I've been watching (belatedly..) the Merlin TV series with my youngest kids, who are aged 7-15. We all loved it - like a PG version of Game of Thrones! Now we've watched the lot, we're looking for other things to watch together. We don't mind a bit of fighting / swearing etc but don't want sexual content as the kids cringe. Magic / fantasy good but not essential. Is there anything else as good as Merlin? Recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you!

80s robin of sherwood? It's on DVD

I'd second Robin if Sherwood. It's the best version of the legend I've ever seen.

That sounds good, @StillTryingHard and @LouiseBrooks - I'll find it and we'll give that a go. Thank you Smile

My DS used to love Merlin (that takes me back)

What abour "Atlantis" , it has Mark Addy ( Full Monty) cannot remember a thing about it myself but DH/DS enjoyed it.

(DS is now 18 and watches Game of Thrones Hmm )

One good thing about having a large family is, you get to watch Game of Thrones with your oldest, and Merlin with your youngest. One bad thing is that nobody will watch Buffy with me any more as they think it's lame and the picture quality / production values are not up to scratch Confused.

With the amount of arguing that goes on with my lot, watching something together can be quiet re-bonding time, so I'm grateful for recommendations. I will put Atlantis on the list, @70 - if it has eye candy in it, so much the better!

We liked the more recent BBC Robin Hood series, I think it was on a couple of years before Merlin was broadcast and was aimed at the same audience.
