It's a great series.Have enjoyed both of them loads, this one is a really long one.I think tonights was a huge cliffhanger-was it the last in series?
Hope not.

I have only watched two. One where the teacher committed suicide and tonight's with the stabbing. It's not looking like a great place to work

slayerette · 26/04/2007 21:31

I can't believe they ended on such a cliffhanger. How will I survive until 'later in the year' (and you just know they mean December..)

ellenjames · 26/04/2007 21:45

Must admit this prog is one of my guilty treats! love jack rimmer he's sexier now than when he was in Queer as folk brill ending well pissed off though that will have to wait ages to find out what happens!

SueW · 26/04/2007 21:48

Someone I know sat next to him in a pub a couple of weeks ago.

unknownrebelbang · 26/04/2007 21:49

Haha, my eldest has just discovered the joys of cliffhanger endings.

We've missed a couple of episodes though, including the suicide, so can someone tell me how the American got involved in the school, please?

And I think I rather like Andrew Trenneman, and I always thought he was priggish before. (much more in favour of Rimmer usually).

I had a better French accent than the french teacher !

scatterbrain · 26/04/2007 22:07

It was Izzie who was stabbed !

MummyPenguin · 26/04/2007 22:43

Think this should go back to it's old time of 9.00 p.m. though. My DC's are still up at 8.00 p.m. and love WR, but some of it is a bit near the mark for them to be watching.

Great series - and what an ending! Don't die Izzy!!!

redbeki · 27/04/2007 14:24

sobernow,if you have digital t.v.,it's on the replay.so you can watch it?

unknownrebelbang - the American got involved in the school because he was from a fundamentalist christian organisation that wanted to provide financial backing to the new academy - the BBC giving a nod to what is happening to Britain's schools maybe?

slayerette · 28/04/2007 11:17

Made me laugh how quickly all the kids (how come there are no Yr 7, 8 or 9 students - similar to weird assortment of teachers!)jumped onto the Creationist bandwagon! It takes me months to get my lot to absorb anything I say - it took that American bloke two minutes to convince those girls that all dinosaurs were dragons...

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 28/04/2007 11:21

Whizzz - even Joey from Friends had a better french accent

Toot de la froot (that episode was funny - friends, that is, not w.road)
