He is very obviously desperate for this TV appearance to resurrect his career. Rachel was right when she said the older housemates have a lot less to lose than the younger ones, and Daniel has a lot riding on this and he knows it. He is desperately trying to keep the cheeky chappy persona, that would form the basis of any future career, going, whilst trying not to be too controversial. Unfortunately he is a misogynist through to his very core and he can't hide that, plus he is thick as mince, so he doesn't have anything else to talk about apart from sex and being derogatory about women. He is showing everyone exactly who he is.

I don't actually think they've ever shown a HM articulating the difference between those that are there for an interesting experience/the money/both and those who are there for career purposes. It must have made for quite a clash in the past on occasions - the ones in there to keep their heads down, and get out with the cheque, and the ones who needed to make a splash and get the magazines interested.

Yes, and I think they are seething that the only overtly sexual 'woman' in there is actually a man. They have come to the realisation that there is not going to be any dry humping with pneumatically breasted ladies with vaginas. The frustration at this is visibly increasing, hence Andrew's 'I would go to town on that', the 'lesbians' comment, and now the slagging of Jess. It's actually quite fascinating to watch.

I thought this series would get boring after IW left and sadly I've not found it so compelling since they left. Wish they'd send in a new HM, someone like Kim Woodbourne ( is that her surname?) to shake things up a bit!

Yes, I'm pretty sure the viewing figures will have gone down, the MN threads have certainly slowed up! However, as I said, i am now quite interested in the behaviour of the 3 stooges, and Ginuwine actually. Plus the dynamic of Shane L against those blokes. And I still love Shane J at the moment!

Did anyone leave Channel 5 on last night after CBB. I've never seen the programme before, it was couples who'd split being reunited to see if they could work out their relationships. One guy who was punching above his weight imo had been dumped for infidelity, he spent the whole time trying to persuade his ex girlfriend that an open relationship would be good for and would work for them
She maintained she still loved him, god knows why, but fortunately saw the light and left him to it.

WRT the nominations twist I'm expecting that someone will win immunity in Thursday night's task.

Thursdays task is the one that decides who has the power the following week, isn’t it? Maybe they’ll make all of the winning sex immune? Would that still leave three of each sex up for noms...?
