My take on the Andrew/Ann buttock waxing convo:
He started off by asking Ashley to do the honours and she declined but he kept on pushing it.
To get him off her back, she told him to go and ask Ann to give her permission for Ashley to wax his behind, and if Ann said OK, she would do it.
IMHO, Ashley didn't for a minute think that Andrew would be stupid enough to have such a conversation with Ann therefore, he would stop hassling her.
However, Ashley hadn't accurately estimated Andrew's level of stupidity, ergo, the conversation and subsequent fallout ensued.

Andrew and Rachel can do one.
