Ok. My take is that CH5 thought they'd be oh so clever and mix things up with their Year of the Woman theme. IW was an employee, they thought they knew her well, and that the show would be educational, different and a bit sparky, but ultimately just good telly.

Unfortunately for them IW was a not very bright, self-obsessed one trick pony. She's trashed her own career, upset pretty much every "community" imaginable, and so now CH5 are back peddling faster than Lance Armstrong on his happy pills.

The damage limitation memo has been swirling around every CH5 exec's desk, and Rylan and Emma have the task of doing their dirty work.

I hope IW is interviewed in the morning by Piers Morgan. I'm no fan but he doesn't take any prisoners.
