I do think S / C is a very charismatic person - and very appealing. Didn't Ann talk about how Shane would be someone to be proud of? I think he is appealingly interested in others with that quiet confidence that draws people to him - both men and women.

I'm sure that the HM are not seeing the "lads chat" that Dapper is showing in the sauna/smoking area and actually see someone who made a mistake and is trying to make it better and feeling sorry for him.

I'm perturbed by Ashleigh. She does lovely make up on other people but her own make up is horrendous.

In the scenes with Andrew and Shane as Shane, they still seem quite close so I don’t think it’s necessarily a Courtney thing although I’m sure it certainly helps.
