I was just googling Ann W to see if there was any info about her being a smoker. I don’t think I’ve seen her with a cigarette in the house so far.

Anyway, I got distracted with some CBB stuff which I assume will be shown tonight. According to this piece from The Star, Andrew uses the term cis-woman in a conversation with India about ‘designer vaginas’. I wonder if any of the women in there will stamp their feet and tell him not to say cis-women when they are REAL women!

I'd always dismissed AW without thought assuming her to be a typical Tory.
I saw when she lived with the Phillpots and she stood her ground with Mick that she believed what she said and wasn't shy to say it.
I gained a respect for her and felt a bit ashamed.

Cis is a goady way to refer to real women - the ones with XX chromosones. There is no need for the cis because "women" is sufficient because it means "adult human female".

I can't imagine Andrew thought to use that terminology, so can only assume Courtney used it, as India would not want to admit there was a difference.

I wasn't clear above - I imagine Andrew heard Courtney use it and copied it.

A cis woman is woman that was born female...so a woman. IW doesn’t like being referred to as a ‘trans’ woman so I’m interested to see who uses the qualifier ‘cis’ first tonight.

Skim read Teddy and don't have time to respond to everything. I agree with some of what's said and disagree with some, but like to read differing opinions because it makes me think. Some stuff is new to me, so I can search around it and learn and other stuff is just another way of looking at, or interpreting things and makes me consider more. I may be at saturation point with labels for the time being though.

To distract you all from the lack of hardwood mentions, which is not a euphemism as I can't promise to be bringing you news of adverts any time soon, I share instead news from Digital Spy posters. One is that India was telling the group she's convinced she'd been abducted by aliens. I must've missed that, but there's a report in the Huffington Post. The other is that Amanda has called out India for her victim behaviour and when India questioned 'where's that come from?' Amanda simply said 'ME' I won't give away any more spoilers as I think we'll see it after the task's ended.

Darn it, I have to miss tonight. Will catch up tomorrow.

By the way I'd never heard of Dapper Laughs, I feel privileged that I've missed this "comic".

He just seem obnoxious and what must his partner think about his crude remarks. He has a young daughter- I wonder how he'd feel about men discussing her in those vile terms (when she's an adult I mean)

DH isn't feeling well and is off to bed and I'm secretly pleased as means I can watch CBB in peace (would not inflict it on him usually and was intending to catch up tomorrow). I was all "oh you poor thing, why don't you get a really early night?" Why don't you go NOW?
