Billions- worth watching?

Just watched the first 3 eps as I'd heard such good things about it but it all feels a bit lightweight / low quality in a way I can't place, and all the stupid sex scenes are already getting pretty tedious already. I guess I was expecting something a bit darker and heavier.

Worth sticking with it?

Cannot answer your question OP but just watched all 10 Tin Star and loved it , we are now looking for something else and Billions was an option fingers crossed it improves ???

Will watch some more tonight and let you know - it is interesting and it's not bad as such, just not quite what I was expecting!

Is that the series with Damian Lewis? If it is, we watched the first series weren't overly impressed and didn't bother with the second. I think your first post summed it up it was very formulaic and the acting, imo, was rather wooden.

I stuck with it because I like anything with Paul Giamatti it's very very slow and the action doesn't pick up until the later episodes.

I really liked it, but then I really like Lewis and Giamatti. I am looking forward to season 3, whenever it starts on Crave, (in Canada).

I thought it was toilet.

We watched season 1 and liked it but finding it hard to get through season 2. A lot of it goes over my head and I need the subtitles on to follow it.

I think we will leave that one alone then after the reviews...the search for something good for the dark nights continues ..

I gave up after 3 or episodes. Just watched Big Little Lies on Now tv - it was amazing.

It's absolutely BRILLIANT. It gets better and better. Sex is irrelevant in most episodes. I also find it very clever, give it a chance.

I can't wait until next series.

Season 3 starts 25th March - the trailer for the new season looks good, I can't wait to see it
