My only complaint was that the courier chap was managing to have a chat with Mona on his mobile whilst he was in the lift - I've never known a lift that has mobile reception! Otherwise, quite gripping. Will stick with it.

What a load of shite! Couldn't give a toss what's going to happen next, don't like any of the characters, the suspense music is constant and overkill. It's like a really bad James Bond parody?!

Definitely won't be watching next week!

That's what I thought, with quite a few episodes to go. They must have showed the brothers funeral. I'm finding it quite hard to predict though. (A good thing?)

Optimist1 my Nan has a lift in her block of flats and you can definitely use your phone in it. I do it all the time.

It was more watchable this week but still a bit silly. The security being able to track Mona down like that was bonkers.

It's all a bit reminiscent of Homeland when it jumped the shark, lots of her running around market places in a headscarf.
Yes the level of surveillance seems ludicrous and again a bit Homeland like.
I felt strangely detached from the 'action' and the characters, very aware it is a programme, not really getting 'drawn in'.

How come they weren't armed? Anyway a British police officer isn't going to go around unaccompanied in a foreign country. What bullshit.
Seriously disappointed in this series because I fancy the pants off Jack Davenport and he deserves better because it's a very important issue .

I actually enjoyed this episode, but it was the first one! Finally started getting into the characters a bit more.

It was a load of crap. The last couple of episodes were better but still on the whole a waste of six hours.
I kept thinking Danny would pop up alive after all at the end.
Who was the bearded guy who was shown at the end in Lahore or wherever it was? It wasnt Danny, was it?

Oops, sorry, I’ve just seen the newer thread on this which reminded me I didn’t understand the bit about the granny either. I get it now, and it wasn’t Danny with a beard. Really should watch a bit more closely but I’d lost the will to live by then.
Mona was beautiful but rather cool.
I thought the DCI was well played.
