And powd28 - my yearning is for Noel and yet it is not explicity carnal - it is more of a general longing! Russel is just another league, he looks like the best company in the world though and also someone who appears to be relatively authentic despite the theatrics. But Noel, sigh, the combination of beauty and humour is very fine.

I think you'd feel slightly uneasy about crossing a line with Noel between mothering him & wanting him. Russell otoh you'd only want to cross over as far as your morals would let you. Mine are quite stretchy.

jbck, you are right! my longing for Noel is really platonically passionate. I think it probably something Freudian and dark and it says more about me than it does about young Mr Fielding!
But Russel, what great company he must be. I never hear his radio programme - I must make an effort to listen. But he somehow isn't as sexy to me, I think maybe the hair is Too Big!
