Elquinto - it was on Sky (spit) Atlantic. It was awesome and a total headfuck. Dvd available now. I loved s1, got exasperated with s2 and had my mind blown by s3. Never seen anything like it on telly. Or anywhere else.

Huge fan. Went to the last film premiere and swooned myself stupid. I've watched the newest episode 5 times already.
We're moving soon and I bought a massive I want to believe poster to go up somewhere. Not told DP that yet.
I should probably get out more!

Tellertuesday - about Twin Peaks? With pleasure.

Season 1 (aired 26 years ago!) opened with the body of Laura Palmer, homecoming queen in a small town, discovered in a river. "She's dead. Wrapped in plastic."

Due to similarities with other cases the FBI get involved in the murder investigation. And things get seriously weird. Nothing is what it seems, normal narratives have a grotesquely twisted bent to them, there are dualities everywhere (TWIN peak geddit?) both in terms of characters and also story lines and eventually reality itself. Season 2 lost its way somewhat but season 3 explores the frankly terrifyingly dark machinations behind what was going on in s1 and the film of the same name. Not in a way that gives you any answers but in a way that blows your mind, expands your consciousness, makes you question what your concept of the world around you is in a beautiful, terrible way. It is honestly extraordinary.
