I love having to concentrate/ immerse myself in subtitled series. I particularly like crime but am happy with drama,. I like French as I speak it fairly well but am happy to watch other language programmes, inspire me on which series to pick please. Obvs pleased to have Spiral back on bbc4. I'm not keen on supernatural/magic etc

Deutschland ’83 was great - it revolves around a young East German soldier sent undercover in the West. The early 80s soundtrack is a bonus.

Locked Up - Spanish prison drama. Absolutely brilliant - every episode is full of suspense and drama, nothing gets dragged out.

I think it's because I don't know any of the cast therefore I totally believe in the characters, cos I'm not going "oh yeah, he was in Eastenders last week"

Yes we do have Netflix, are there similar box sets on there?
I have limited tv time but like to have something in the go.i have watched and enjoyed The Bridge and the Killing but many others were not as good.

On Netflix we've watched three series of Narcos, two of El Chapo and one of Suburra, all subtitled dramas.

The Out-Laws was very good, also enjoyed Dicte Crime Reporter.

The German 'Tatort' series they have on WP are very good - Cenk Batu, Nick's Law and Inspektor Borowski.

Deutschland 86 wrapped at the end of 2017 and should be released sometime during 2018 hopefully, I'm very much lookng forward to that.
