7:10pm on BBC1 if you enjoyed last year's Peter Pan Goes Wrong or have seen The Play That Goes Wrong.

Derek Jacobi and Dame Diana Rigg are in it.

I’m looking forward to it!

Chewbecca · 30/12/2017 16:36

Looking forward to it here too.

Would also recommend the theatre productions if you haven't already seen them, Comedy About A Bank Robbery is hilarious.

TheChippendenSpook · 30/12/2017 16:40

Thank you for posting this :-)

Slaymill · 30/12/2017 16:40

Can't wait ! I still have a recording of last years Peter Pan which I never get bored of watching.

mrwalkensir · 30/12/2017 16:48

just checks that set to record!

mrwalkensir · 30/12/2017 16:48

just checks that set to record!

youngestisapsycho · 30/12/2017 19:34

We have the Peter Pan still recorded from last year... DD watches it at least once a week! We are going to the theatre to see the original Play that Goes Wrong in January as a surprise for her. Looking for ward to this one....

SouthWestmom · 30/12/2017 19:52

Just watching now. It's not great is it?
We've seen all their stuff at the theatre plus last years tv version - this is very poor compared..

cloudyweewee · 30/12/2017 19:53

DH is laughing his head off but I'm not tickled at all. Gimme the Muppets version instead!

SouthWestmom · 30/12/2017 19:56

Tbh if I saw this first I wouldn't go and see their other stuff. It's very unfunny.

Fluffiest · 30/12/2017 19:57

Ooh seen this alert too late. How long till it goes on iplayer, you reckon?

squiz81 · 30/12/2017 19:59

Ah that was a disapointment. Had been looking forward to it. Think they should have stuck to a theatre style production.

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 30/12/2017 19:59

6 of us have just watched this.

The only one that liked it was 13 yo DS. The rest of us (ages 18 - 70+) thought it ranged from meh to crap.

iklboo · 30/12/2017 20:01

It was ok but not as funny as Peter Pan. Some nice bits in it.

Flisspaps · 30/12/2017 20:16

I'd paused it while putting the DC to bed.

Getting ready to watch it and DH switches the fucking darts on AngryShock

I'd not recorded it as we are at the ILs instead of at home.

furlinedsheepskinjacket · 30/12/2017 20:19

not very good

Scabbersley · 30/12/2017 20:21

I was disappointed. Turned it off

MelanieCheeks · 30/12/2017 20:22

Oh I almost fell off the sofa in fits of laughter! A sort of noises off by way of Morecambe and wise.

surferjet · 30/12/2017 20:22

We switched over half way through - painfully unfunny.

youngestisapsycho · 30/12/2017 20:27

No where near as funny as the Peter Pan one....

SouthWestmom · 30/12/2017 20:29

What's the expression? Jumping the shark?

Argeles · 30/12/2017 20:32

I thought some little sections were quite funny, but that many elements were too repetitious - such as the lines being written down and read, and the last ghost banging his head over and over.

Last year’s production was hilarious, but I thought this one was a complete let down. I turned it over about 15 minutes from the end, as I just couldn’t be bothered with it.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 30/12/2017 21:04

Watched on iPlayer......... it was ok , some good visual bits like where the green screen fails and the video /party.

The stage show (PTGW) is really good . Bank Robbery good but TPTGW was better.
Loved Peter Pan last year too.

We went to see Movie Mischief earlier this month, one of the cast fell and ended up being taken to A&E , they had to call a halt (we were offered rebook or wait till the later show but I don't know if there were seats? )
Everyone thought it was part of the show, it took a while to twig

Braceface · 30/12/2017 21:11

Really disappointing. We loved Peter pan last year and went and saw the play that goes wrong which was hilarious but I didn't think was funny. Some bits were but not up to their usual standard.

SouthWestmom · 30/12/2017 21:15

Too much repetition which didn't transfer:

Overhearing insults
Not knowing words
Replacing actors

Etc
