Just binge watched Season 2. I understand there's artistic license blended with factual events but found it fascinating and many parts made me go and research some gaps in my history knowledge. Best telly I've watched in ages!

Yes, I have only just watched season 1 and have just started season 2. It is taking longer to watch though as I also have to keep looking up who people are, history wasn’t one of my subjects at school. Hope to finish it this week.

History was one of my subjects at school and I still end up googling!

Yes I'm enjoying it too. I'm up to episode 6 at the moment. My main gripe is I think they make the Queen too frumpy and serious. She was always quite 'safely' dressed but she was rather beautiful in her day. Claire Fpy has done a wonderful job but she's a bit more severe than the real thing.

Only on episode 4 of series 1. I like to pace it out and immerse myself in it and do some googling, rather than rushing through the episodes quickly.
Love all the actors in it too.

I love it!

Visually it's so stunning, it's one of those shows once you've watched it you're still thinking about it for days afterwards.

I think it’s great and I am not a fan of the royal family at all. Superb acting, visually stunning and a fascinating history lesson.

I’ve been wondering if that’s actually how the queen gave birth? I know no one can really know, but when she was having Andrew and they injected her with something that knocked her out, and then you saw them pulling the baby out I think? Is that how it happened?! Is there some kind of magical Royal birthing method? But then with Edward’s birth she seemed to be doing it more normally Confused

I have read that they will change the actors every two years to keep them age appropriate and that Olivia Coleman is lined up to succeed Claire Foy for S3. I am so impatient - I want it to be now!
