So who will you be looking out for on the London Marathon on Sunday?

I know there's a very low chance that I'll spot her amongst the thousands of people but my best friend is running the London Marathon for the very first time tomorrow. She is raising money for the Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation. She is a diabetic herself and has been since a child.

I am so proud of her.

I shall be glued to the TV tomorrow trying to see if I can catch a glimpse.

My goddaughter's mum and cousin are doing it to raise money for Dorothy House Hospice near Bath.

Very hard to spot anyone on TV un;less they are ina mad costume

Sparkler, a lot of my family have had diabetes since childhood. my cousin ran it last year for the charity you mentioned. He made over £2000

LOL ChippyMinton - I told her to wear a costume but she wouldn't listen. I think it's one big step already entering the run so didn't want to push her.
Saltire - that's brilliant. My BF has raised over that for this one. I just really hope she makes it to the end of the run.

My FIL is doing it. It took him 5 years to get in again, and he's done all the training, but is not pleased it's going to be so warm!
Think he would have preferred the weather I had last year!
Doubt I would see him on TV as he won't be wearing any kind of costume..

i just watched the start - in tears fgs, no idea why - quite a sight

My Sister and Brother in Law are running today. Not a married couple, he's my other Sister's Husband, iyswim. He's running for Tommy's, she's running for Mind. Good luck to both of them. Hats off to all taking part today.
