Currently watching Love, Lies and Records, and Berlin Babylon but the latter requires brain and I have none, and a horrible cough.
Have loads of Doctors to catch up on but DH won't watch that. TBF I would only binge watch it if I was ill in bed.
Think we're up to date on OITNB and The Killing USA. Tried Stranger Things but got really confused and not really into sci-fi.
Heeelp...

New Netflix series called Dark, looks really good and I'm about to start watching it myself.

0hCrepe · 09/12/2017 21:09

I’ve really enjoyed peaky blinders and alias grace.

drspouse · 09/12/2017 21:21

Has Peaky Blinders been about for a while? Do I need to start at the beginning?

OP posts:
drspouse · 09/12/2017 21:27

Oooh The Crown is back!
Is Alias Grace Netflix too?

PasstheStarmix · 09/12/2017 21:33

Yes peaky blinders has been out for while now and def start with season 1

0hCrepe · 09/12/2017 22:40

Yes alias grace is Netflix

butterfly56 · 11/12/2017 18:51

Anyone watched "Godless" with Michelle Dockery?...I'm not a massive western fan but this was brilliant!

butterfly56 · 11/12/2017 18:52

^^Should have said... on Netflix!

drspouse · 11/12/2017 19:21

DH spotted that - we'll check it out!

Have you watched Person Of Interest yet? It's fantastic.

LightastheBreeze · 11/12/2017 20:39

There is a new series on tonight on ITV called Bancroft for 4 nights

Whatsthisabout · 11/12/2017 20:40

I’ve just watched the fall on Amazon Prime. Bit late in the day perhaps.

butterfly56 · 12/12/2017 00:38

Another vote for Person of Interest...one of my top ten favourite series!

UnicornRainbowColours · 12/12/2017 07:00

Once upon a time, Brooklyn nine nine, the good place all very good

drspouse · 12/12/2017 09:10

Is Once Upon a Time the fairytale one that's been on for quite a while?
If so I watched the early series but didn't carry on and DH isn't that into it (to put it mildly).
I think he might like Brooklyn 99!

TheSecondOfHerName · 12/12/2017 09:15

The Crown
Dark

drspouse · 12/12/2017 09:24

We're watching the Crown, as above.

I think we may be up to our limit with subtitles (need a lot of energy and concentration!)

Loverunandwine · 12/12/2017 09:25

Suits, goodwife and the line of duty

ApplesTheHare · 12/12/2017 09:26

Another vote for Godless on Netflix here. It's excellentSmile

UnicornRainbowColours · 12/12/2017 11:24

Yes to once upon a time. Brooklyn nine nine is a really funny comedy.

drspouse · 12/12/2017 11:36

We tried Godless last night and like it so far! Another one with lots of British actors pretending to be American. Apart from Sam Waterston pretending not to be in Law and Order.

Really don't think I'm going to get back into OUAT and as for DH... nope. He also didn't like The Good Wife but I think I've seen them all anyway.

We liked Line of Duty but it's over for the moment isn't it?

OP posts:
drspouse · 12/12/2017 11:36

(Any implication that we watch far too much TV is... er... true.)

OP posts:
ArcheryAnnie · 12/12/2017 13:16

butterfly56 it's fantastic, isn't it? I was not expecting it to be any good, frankly, but it exceeded all my expectations. Michael Emerson's voice is worth the price of entry alone.

jelliedeel · 14/12/2017 21:28

Dark is great and Godless was amazing for a Western series, hope there's another in the making.

hungryradish · 14/12/2017 21:37

Another vote for Alias Grace - it's really bloody good.

We've just watched the first episode of Dark - I'm definitely intrigued but considering you said you don't like sci-fi might not be your thing. Doesn't do any harm to give it a try though I suppose :)
