One of my (rather well-off) friends had a contract with one of those 'change the flowers every day' companies. It was for his home but he found the company through his work-place.

I agree it's lucrative but there is quite a lot of competition and Elizabeth's flower arrangements didn't look eye-stopping enough to really single her out from the crowd (making 'Elizabeth's Flowers' a by-word for buying in floral sophistication, elegance, edginess, etc.).

Perhaps that was it?

Agree that the last two seem a slightly odd choice.

Recruirtment consultants are worse than estate agents, just a sales job that attracts get rich quick people without many skills.

I can only imagine if a customer disagrees with Elizabeth or complains about something she doesn't handle it well and gets aggressive and shouty. Bad for business!!

Elizabeth's flowers look pretty dull on the site, she needs to learn lightroom to make them pop.

I can't see how you can be selling bog standard pick and mix for 7 years and not get an online shop working. That's an afternoons work to get up and running, I did it with WordPress and WooCommerce in that time.

Mike needs to have a word with Linda. She's not updated her website since 2015.

I think the shows format needs to change.

I reckon each candidate's biz plan should be revealed at the start and each candidate should have pm a task that matches their proposal. Think the current format is tired.

LS changed the format from a job to an investment a few years ago. Think it's time for another change to keep it current.

This year's offerings have been very lukewarm.

And Linda plant is needlessly aggressive and hostile. I though that attitude went out with Gordon gekko

Elizabeth wanted a 'endorses by lord sugar' stamp to promote her biz. Nothing she offered is unique. Michaela's was actually quite good and has very little competition, relatively speaking.

Wtf happened with the red haired woman with glasses? She had by far the most credible business plan. They must know something about her that they aren’t saying, because what’s left? A dodgy recruitment consultancy and a dodgy repackaging company.

Just putting name to the woman- that's the only thing I could really remember about her apart from her being really scary. They were very ugly blue shoes.

I don't think we need to worry about Michaela. An fantastically feisty, witty, cutting ,intelligent woman ,giving Linda and Lord Sugar a run for their money was a joy to watch. Next year she will be doing the interviews ,just like Ricky the previous winner did. She will definitely make it without LS . Elizabeth could get her plan there , but like a previous poster said ,make it about "Flowers from Elizabeth", go for the USP ,not the corporate side. Not really bothered about the outcome of the final now .

Yes. Linda plant )didn't notice shoes - need to go back and look now!) - I just remember wondering what the fuck she's done to her face - it looks all stretched and misshapen - I think she needs a refund from her plastic surgeon!

The interviews were brutal. Linda Plant was unbelievably rude. The things the interviewers picked up on though were so blaringly obvious.
I don't know how/why the candidates hadn't made their business plans as watertight as possible, with every angle covered before they even entered the process.

Michaela was the only one I would have given a job to, but as much as I liked her feisty personality, her professional interactions with potential clients on the tasks left a lot to be desired.

Omg, just remembered that Sarah was responsible for ‘Gourmet Crusaders’, she should have been sacked just for that! What’s next? Carrot Jihad?
