Hi all
We are dangerously close to filling this thread and in anticipating of an exciting, thrilling and - dare I say (hopefully) edgy - episode tonight, I thought I'd better start part 2!

You can find part 1 here

I don't think I've seen a reaction like that before. People have been upset and disappointed at being voted out, but she was visibly surprised (and puzzled). I guess she reasoned that Corrie has the largest following out of Hollyoaks and Chelsea, and few people probably had previously heard of Iain. I think She defiantly thought she was going to win.

AppleKatie · 09/12/2017 22:50

I think Jennie has a slow processing speed - as in she genuinely didn’t work out what was happening for 5 seconds or so. She clearly wasn’t expecting to be voted out and it took time for her to process.
I thought she was nice enough but I’m surprised she stayed as long as she did- the cynic in me had put her ‘type’ as similar to Vanessa but less attractive so I’d have predicted her to leave just before Vanessa. Quite pleased to be proved wrong on that score really.

I think Toff is the clear winner at this point. But watching Jamie’s face when he doesn’t win is going to be glorious.

KioskKeithForPresident · 09/12/2017 23:02

But watching Jamie’s face when he doesn’t win is going to be glorious.

I wouldn't count those bush turkeys before they are hatched tbh.

If this thread were representative of the voting populus, he still wouldn't be in but he is so it isn't.

I've never heard of him before this show but as someone above said if his show fan base has a big teenage overlap he may have a lot of voters.

Unless the show is pre-fixed or edited to favour a particular winner mentioning no reality shows at all then it is reliant on those who vote.

That doesn't necessarily translate to a deserving winner - ie. Toff.

Mrscaindingle · 09/12/2017 23:06

I was as surprised as Jennie clearly was that she was booted out, who the hell is voting for Jamie??? He clearly though he was the bush tucker trial hero and was dying to say his own name but knew it would come across badly. I really loathe men like him, patronising sexist twats who promote themselves as kind and caring.

I think Jennie was torn between Toff and Jamie as she thinks Toff should win but Ja'mie had made such a big thing of them being mates and northerners together that she felt disloyal saying Toff.

poppym12 · 09/12/2017 23:40

I reckon Toff will win a) because she deserves to and b) she's more likely to be of use to roll out on future TV shows as previous winners seem to be. I hope iain or jamie don't win. I don't like either.

honeyroar · 09/12/2017 23:44

Looking at their Facebook page (I'm a Celebrity, 50% are saying they can't believe Iain is still there and the other 50% are saying they can't believe Jamie is still there.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 10/12/2017 00:25

I've used my votes for Toff, because although I would have voted for Iain I don't think he would win, and I don't want Jamie to win because of a split vote.

LoveforPGTipsMonkey · 10/12/2017 00:37

It'd be a great slightly ironic result if Iain won, just because he's too imperfect to be a hero and has even eaten the strawberries but felt so guilty! But the producers migh be woprried about such result as it might set the precedence for not behaving too well or trying too hard.

But trying too hard got a bit boring - that's why I don't want Toff to win as she is too try-hard and generally no less ambitious than Jamie by the way - they both didn't leap to say 'you are the hero' to each other. Toff wins maonly on her being so articulate (yes private schooling helps) and more cheery than most which is an achievement.
Jamie most resilient in trials and 'what you see is what you get' but is quite boring imo.
I'd rather Iain than Toff or Jamie, he's the most entertaining and least self-confident.

LoveforPGTipsMonkey · 10/12/2017 00:48

Agree with posters who thought Jennie should have been in the final.

Yes she's not the mostsparkling or in your face like Toff but l liked her understated humour and her intelligence (remember when she's the only one who cottoned on that Amir must have initiated the strawberry thing because public voted him and not Iain to do the next trial?), and she's been tough in trials (even though she's older than T and not as fit) but not banged on about it like Toff did.

LoveforPGTipsMonkey · 10/12/2017 00:48

she's = she was

RosyWelshcakes · 10/12/2017 01:19

Urgh at the end when she went 'toff/Jamie toff/jamie' like Iain was invisible. I do think she has covertly been in Jamie and dennis camp re irritation with Iain.

Im just about to watch it now but yes, my thoughts exactly re Jenny. I said so a few pages ago.

Roussette · 10/12/2017 09:27

Jamie's doing this for exposure with the hope of going back on Eastenders apparently. As I didn't know he'd been on it in the first place, this is all a bit irrelevant to me!

I disliked the exchange he had with Iain where he begrudgingly said to Iain... I thought you were playing a game, but now I don't, you're a genuine guy.
Klaxon going off here... is he saying this to hang on to the hope of staying in/winning?
Yep! I think so!

MrsJayy · 10/12/2017 09:54

I was as gobsmacked as Jennie she was out who is voting for jamie 😕

MrsJayy · 10/12/2017 09:56

Jamie Lomas was in Eastenders really Confused I think he died (to old) in hollyoaks so I guess he is looking for a job

haircolourhelp · 10/12/2017 10:31

I think he had a brief relationship with Lauren Branning in her alcoholic days in EE. I've got a feeling they met at AA.

danTDM · 10/12/2017 11:26

Can anyone tell me who was the other 'it might be you'? Was it Jamie?

Bloody hope so.

Toff to win, she's lovely in MIC too.

derxa · 10/12/2017 11:30

They were all 'it might be you'. it was a joke.

jalopy · 10/12/2017 12:17

I don't understand how Jenny had such problems naming the person who she thought might win, like it was a surprise to be asked. Surely anyone would have formed an idea by the end of their experience there. It was painful to watch her struggling to make her choice.

danTDM · 10/12/2017 12:26

Thanks derxa

BringMeTea · 10/12/2017 13:06

I honestly think Jennie was just a bit overwhelmed and her brain was already thinking ‘oh shit exit interview now and leaving the cosy camp’. I don’t think her face reflected her belief that she would be a finalist/winner. Having said that she is besties with the wee shite Anthony Cotton so who knows.

Toff to win.

bonfireheart · 10/12/2017 13:22

Jennie did hug Jamie a lot before she left so dunno why she had such an issue saying she wanted him to win.

QuiQuaiQuod · 10/12/2017 14:38

Jennie- Jamie/Toff/Jamie/Toff. What a bitch.

Ian to win, hes been treated like Martin Roberts was last year and Id love him to beat the bullies.

hes obv insecure and prob suffers from depression, and the constant need to please people.

cant say Im a fan of his, but hes come across the best this yeaR -apart from strawberry gate.

jamies a knob, how is he still init?

Appuskidu · 10/12/2017 15:26

Who on earth has been voting for for Jamie?!

I liked Jennie over begin with but she was being as bad as the others in the end. Not bullying Iain outright but totally not helping. I wonder if any of them will comeback out of the jungle and actually see how badly they behaved/came across?
