Hi all
We are dangerously close to filling this thread and in anticipating of an exciting, thrilling and - dare I say (hopefully) edgy - episode tonight, I thought I'd better start part 2!

You can find part 1 here

Awww it’s so sweet how disappointed she is! And why was Jamie asking for praise when he didn’t do anything?!

Inkanta · 08/12/2017 21:32

Yeah - good lass!

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 08/12/2017 21:36

I really don't care if Toff's ITV's chosen one, she's done far more than cement a win. She, Vanessa and Stanley were my favourites, so Toff has my support for the win.

Can't stand Amir, Iain or Jamie.

KioskKeithForPresident · 08/12/2017 21:39

Random question - after they've done a trial like that (involving fish guts/mess/animals and stuff) do they get to have a proper (ie. normal running water) shower? As opposed to the jungle rubbish shower.

Both Jamie and Toff looked properly "clean" before they went back in.

Anyone know? Just thinking it can't be very healthy to let them sit around in fish guts if they have that feeble bath etc.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/12/2017 21:42

I hate Jamie more every time he opens his mouth.

Cherrypie32 · 08/12/2017 21:47

Wow, there is really someone who needs the airtime right??!!

sagamartha · 08/12/2017 21:48

Not in this household Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/12/2017 21:52

Who is Jamie anyway? How is he "famous"?

Dumbledoresgirl · 08/12/2017 21:52

They must be able to wash somewhere else, otherwise they would enter camp filthy. Unless the camp shower is on the way to the trial area? Which, thinking about it, it could well be.

KioskKeithForPresident · 08/12/2017 21:53

I think the problem with Iain is that when he is in the bush telegraph room or talking to Ant & Dec he sounds so "fake", it's like he is trying too hard to be enthusiastic or funny. It's hard to place but it's sort of like bad acting.

Toff and the others (even the bullying ones) do some across as more genuine - like they actually mean what they say and aren't saying it to win popularity.

It's like the difference between Toff being so disappointed she didn't get 5 stars and Iain's failings - she was so genuinely sad and it came across like that. He was more "about what others think".

It's most obvious in the bush telegraph in his tone and when he speaks to Ant & Dec at trials.

Dumbledoresgirl · 08/12/2017 21:54

Jamie is an actor isn't he? Not that I knew that before, but I thought he said he was in Hollyoaks.

KioskKeithForPresident · 08/12/2017 21:54

Dumbledore
Thanks for responding - yes it was just they looked more clean than normal and I wondered if they had proper cleaning facilities.

Roussette · 08/12/2017 21:55

I think Iain's just awkward. i know people like him!

KioskKeithForPresident · 08/12/2017 21:59

Toff "Amir's mind is blown so regularly that I'm surprised there is any brain in their left to be blown".

Brilliant!!! She is lovely!

This was after him insisting that cheese cake had no cheese in it until Iain pointed out until it had cream cheese in it.

Dumbledoresgirl · 08/12/2017 22:01

I would have thought if they were covered in fish guts, there would be some proper cleaning facilities somewhere. For health and hygiene reasons, but also, surely they can't be washing fish guts down the river. Wouldnt that be injurous to the ecology or summat?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/12/2017 22:02

Thanks Dumble - had no idea who he was.

Chipstick10 · 08/12/2017 22:02

Roussette. I don’t . I have disliked him intently since his early morning show ‘Rise’ . I thought he was awful to his female co presenter and he was equally rude and obnoxious on ‘Come dine with me’

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 08/12/2017 22:04

I think there was an issue some years back about contaminating the jungle pool when they came back from trials? so I guess they made new arrangements. I did comment at home how clean Dennis always looked and how freshly laundered his shirts seemed.

Jamie was married to and has a child with Kim Marsh, not sure if he also acted on Corrie? I don't watch any soaps so that's just possible Hear'Say. Hah!

I just surprise myself sometimes Grin

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 08/12/2017 22:05

Keith that little vignette was my favourite so far.

Amir. Mind. Blown.

How?!!?

KioskKeithForPresident · 08/12/2017 22:05

I think Rousette meant she knows people similar to Iain rather than she knows people like (in the sense of are favourable to) Iain.

I think there is more to it that being awkward. It just feels so fake and try hard to me. It's his tone really. It sounds like there is no true sincerity behind anything he says.

Roussette · 08/12/2017 22:06

Well chipstick kate lawler his co presenter on Rise can't praise him highly enough and reckons he should win IACGMOOH, so it can't have been that bad working with him!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/12/2017 22:06

Grin Enrique! Very good pun there!

I don't recognise him from Corrie, but then I'm not the best at remembering celebs. I only remember Kym Marsh being married to the bloke who looked 12.

Roussette · 08/12/2017 22:08

Yes I know people similar to Iain, very much so

KioskKeithForPresident · 08/12/2017 22:09

Jamie was married to and has a child with Kim Marsh

Didn't know him at all before this but having seen him on this I'm shocked anyone would marry him.

And now Amir (how old is he?) is playing with the dolls. As in really playing with the dolls. In the way a toddler does.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/12/2017 22:10

Amir is an absolute tosser
