We are dangerously close to filling this thread and in anticipating of an exciting, thrilling and - dare I say (hopefully) edgy - episode tonight, I thought I'd better start part 2!

I don’t buy into the ‘poor, bullied sensitive Iain’ school of thought. He’s known as being a bit of a ‘shock jock’ and he is intelligent and articulate and capable of holding his own. I remember him from his days on LBC and he’s no shrinking violet. I wasn’t keen on him at first but I now think he’s running rings round Dennis, Jamie and Amir and letting them show what uneducated fools they really are. He’s giving them a long rope to hang themselves and one by one they’re doing it. I can not believe that neither Jamie nor Amir could identify Australia on a map.

I’m not convinced by Iain’s faux ‘surprise’ when he doesn’t get voted off but I hope he is the runner up. I’d like Toff to win, but I think it’s quite ironic that someone who is only famous for being on a reality TV show is deemed a celebrity in order to compete in another reality TV show.

Following on from the conversation at the end of the other thread: -

It doesn't matter whether Dec is the same height. It is still unfunny mocking of a people because of their height -- which in case everyone has forgetten you can't help.

This isn't some private little joke between unfunny Dec and unfunny Ant. It is being broadcast into millions of homes.

It is bullying of a person/people because of their height. Imagine if a one legged presenter was making similar jokes about a one legged contestant. Or a black presenter about a black contestant.

The fact the presenter has the same issue DOES NOT MAKE IT OK to mock it.

I think it is disgraceful this has been allowed to run. It might be excusable as a one off or a couple of episodes but its incessant. Not funny at all.

Yes, Iain's faux surprise when he doesn't get voted off is a give away that he plays victimhood very well. Not a victim in the true sense of the word. Yes the 3 lads look like comic fools and that doesn't follow that Iain is the great guy that deserves to win.

Yes but there's no getting away from the fact that the three twats have been bullying Iain. Even if, as some say, Iain has engineered this, even if Iain has got them hook line and sinker.... they are still bullying him. They don't have to. Toff doesn't, Jennie doesn't, Stanley didn't but they choose to. If (and it's a big IF) Iain is like this, they could just ignore it and be the bigger man/men.

So whatever Iain is like, they show themselves up in a very bad light. Look at Dennis's exit interview... a load of twaddle about what had happened in there, he knew he was on thin ice and he didn't have to join in with Amir and that dense idiot Jamie.

Still open mouthed about 20 minutes to find Australia on a map...

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not defending the other 3. They are not showing themselves in a good light at all. But we are voyeurs - normally in life we don’t get to see what others are saying about us behind our backs (probably a good thing) and we are also seeing what the producers choose for us to see. It’s an entertainment show and the producers want us to be talking about it as that makes us watch.

I think what finally did it for me was when Ian Jamie and Amir were sat up in the treehouse or whatever it is. And they said how lucky the three of them were to be together in the jungle and what a great craic it was etc and how great the three of them get on. Like Iain doesn't even exist, he's a complete non entity.

And then there's Dennis and the task/Iain thing...

Iain : I want to do the trial
Dennis : Don't do the trial
Iain : OK I won't do the trial
Dennis : Don't play games with me

WTAF!!!

I agree the 'very small' joke went on too long. Ant and Dec's humour seems more caustic this series.

Even if Jennie was being self-deprecating, she KNEW how horrible the men were being to Iain so saying the task was easy was just giving them ammunition against him.

What did Dennis say on Lorraine-I didn’t see that?

I saw Dennis on good morning Britain, I'm not sure if I heard him correctly but I'm sure he said his going to meet Iain for lunch one day near Iains mothers care home?!

Oh my good god Dennis Wise is a total knob even Ant &Dec looked bemused at his needing the airtime twaddle Jennie Mcalpine and Ian lee have bloody jobs wtf was he going on about ? ARSE

I thought him saying the others ‘needed more airtime’ stuff was just gibberish!

I want to see his face when he’s shown all the stuff they filmed-how can he talk his way out of it?!

What I like about I'm a Celebrity is that when you get found out there is no escaping it. Dennis got well and truly clocked! Try as he might he can't wheedle out of that one - no matter how many interviews he does.

I just hated Dennis saying "I let Iain do the challenge". Who the fuck does he think he is, he ain't in charge of the camp!

Saying he's shocked at the accusations because he's going to visit Iain's mother in the care home. You gotta laugh, you really have....

Ian did say in the Bush telegraph they can put their dicks away now which made me laugh Ian is aware ofvwhat is going on, I would have preferred Amir to go last night he can't keep a lid on his stupid and just says stuff to Ian,

As pp always a possibility, that Iain did give the three twats enough rope & he is intelligent & articulate, but he has said he struggles in groups/social situations & that he is not a ‘blokey bloke’ but that does not excuse those three excluding him & being so derogatory about him.

Dennis was so aggressive towards him, when he put himself up for the trial & was wrong about Iain reneging on two challenges, he tried to do the water one & needed oxygen afterwards, I hope he sees footage of that & is put right about the depth.
Agree also that it is a game show & we are only shown,what the producers want us to see & I feel they have helped the three twats in the behaviour they have displayed towards Iain, they could have easily sent in a laminate correcting the two challenges/depth/Iain needing medical attention etc.
Also I feel Jamie has in many ways, has been worse than Dennis he has continually been slagging of Iain to the others two & was really unkind in the bush telegraph, saying that if Iain couldn’t take Amir ‘joking’ he should jog on.
It’s like Martin all over again, exclusion, taking the piss, alpha male nonsense, because someone is not the stereotypical sporty tough guy.

Agree Jamie is worse. I'm desperate for him to be voted out tonight

@4forksake I’m watching that too. It’s awful. I can’t believe they’re giving her air time. She has been treated like crap by that childish little shit and she’s still standing by him so that she can go on tv... and talk about him. I feel sort of sorry for her.
