The Strictly final is supposed to be the Saturday before Christmas. Hear that, BBC? Whatever happened to settling down with a bottle or three and declaring Christmas open for business? Even I can't do that on the 16th. [santa]

I am not surprised about Brendan. The way he spoke to Shirley Ballas was atrocious. He would never have spoken to Len Goodman in such a disrespectful way. The show has let go of women and brought in younger models since it began. He would have gone years ago had it not been for the fact he's a man. I know that Anton is older but he understands his role on the show and treats people with respect. I feel sorry for Brendan because he's clearly upset but he, like the Jordans before him, is a fool who has brought this on himself.

I disagree about Anton who should have been sacked for his racist remarks years ago.

I've watched the interview with Lorraine and in typical Brendan style he criticizes the quality of his partners in recent years!

Over the years he's had some very high profile women as partners. Michelle Williams and Anastasia to name but two. I can't see why he pouts about his partners when other people just get on with it.
