So, finally they all sing together. And the Cutkelvins have a high view of themselves, as the theme is classic British songs- so they are doing an original Grin.

I think they may leave.

Here is the song list.

Kevin Davy White : The Beatles – 'Come Together'
Rak-Su : Sweet Female Attitude – 'Flowers'
Grace Davies : David Bowie – 'Life on Mars?'
Lloyd Macey : Elton John – 'Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me'
Matt Linnen : The Rolling Stones – 'Gimme Shelter'
The Cutkelvins: 'Nothing Like You' (original track)

I am not sure what criteria they are using to decide what is 'Cool Britannia' Nut I'd hardly put Rat Soup's offering up there either Grin

I'm still not feeling 100% after last week's migraine, so it is touch and go as to whether I will watch . I've been up all night with stomach pains. (I will spare you the rest of the detailsGrin) So tonight I'm drinking water.

Grin Wine

dillite i think it depends how long they were number for. Mine's easy to find- because I'm a Christmas week baby.

Ernie, fastest milk cart in the west. Grin

Now he’s singing and it’s even worse than I expected

Rainybohoho · 25/11/2017 19:52

I thought he had other kids the other week?

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs · 25/11/2017 19:53

dilette be sure to let us know, so we can say dillite's gone to iceland

dillite · 25/11/2017 19:53

OMG! All your hairy men talk just reminded me of a ONS I once had. It was like touching a souring pad or a yeti. Thank goodness I had forgotten all about it. NEVER EVER EVER again. Ever.

Raahh · 25/11/2017 19:53

I expected better , but I'm not well. So what do I know.

Shouting is the new singing.

MusicToMyEars800 · 25/11/2017 19:54

Clash, should I stay or should I go was no1 when I was born Grin

NoisyBrain · 25/11/2017 19:54

My birthday no.1 was Sugar Baby Love by The Rubettes. Not one of the musical high points of the 70s.

Raahh · 25/11/2017 19:54

Hey??? He didn't criticise the Cutkelvins for not even sticking to the brief.

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs · 25/11/2017 19:54

Rainy he did have other kids. He seems to have kids all over the place.

Raahh · 25/11/2017 19:54

I can’t imagine a worse version of that song.

My birthdate number 1 was Tammy Wynette stand by your man, I’m a bit jealous of Ernie the fastest milkman

Raahh · 25/11/2017 19:55

Wtf is Nicole describing now.

music the only song that's listed for September is this 27th September M.A.R.R.S. Pump Up The Volume and it was in the charts for 2 weeks. Before it was Rick Astley with Never Gonna Give You Up and it was there for 5 weeks. Which must mean that it was number 1 on the 8th as well?

MusicToMyEars800 · 25/11/2017 19:56

gimme shel aer.. pronounce it properly man!!

Raahh · 25/11/2017 19:56

dilitte yes I have the same memories. Honestly I'm not that fussy but the hair was something to behold and not in a good way

Rachel0Greep · 25/11/2017 19:56

His diction is terrible. I hadn't a clue what he was singing.

NoisyBrain · 25/11/2017 19:56

dillite haha, I had a similar 'encounter'. Although the guy in question was a friend and very easy on the eye so I was prepared to tolerate the hairiness.

Alwaysinmyheart · 25/11/2017 19:57

Bloody buggering bollocks! XFactor normally starts after Strictly, only just realised it started earlier, what have I missed? Actually probably not much....😀

Raahh · 25/11/2017 19:57

dillite probably, it was number one for a while. It reminds me of a holiday to Crete .Grin
