Two not sure about why they looked pissed off- but Grace was pretty dire last night (well, she usually is , I'm not a fan of dreary nasal stuff), but I'm wondering if Simon is now pinning his hopes on Rat Soup winning. I don't get the appeal of them at all, and they are very much one trick ponies, but I wonder if behind the scenes they feel they can 'work' with them (i.e manipulate ) better .

I want Kevin to win. So far, he has (apart from Whitney) had far better song choices than the others. And at least he looks like he is genuinely enjoying himself.

Ed's new single is so boring. And sounds like half a dozen other songs- mostly his own. He really is turning into a wedding singer. If he's not careful, he will be wearing dodgy jumpers and doing Christmas specials, in the manner of Daniel O Donnell. Or Perry Como

Nancy and I agree we need more comedy acts- at least if gives us something to complain about. But seriously- this year has been dull, J and J were the most entertaining, and Simon took against them from the off.

And at the lights switch on on Friday, the 3 X factor nobodies who performed, sang 3 between them. I don't even know who Roy Bennett is - but boy, he massacred Ed.

I thought that I would be sneaky and have a bath whilst DD watches Merlin. She must have sensed that I was up to something because she was in the bath with me as soon as I got in. The dog was also there. Our bath really isn't big enough for 2, it has just about enough space for 1 small child.
