Anyone watching? I’ve only just started watching half way through so I haven’t really seen anything yet apart from a woman from a charity called ‘False Accusations’? Didn’t know such a charity existed.

Didn’t see a thread about it so thought I’d post one.

I thought she sounded drunk too - not that excuses her from anything she has said mind

DeleteOrDecay · 22/11/2017 23:14

I saw it. Very thought provoking.

Petronella Wyatt was a disgrace! Totally up her own arse. I'm surprised she wasn't booed out of the studio.

Alwaysinmyheart · 23/11/2017 09:01

Yes she got a real slating on Twitter pp were wondering if she was drunk! Awful woman.

Topseyt · 23/11/2017 09:31

I did find myself wondering whether she was on glue or something.

DeleteOrDecay · 23/11/2017 20:52

Watching the documentary now, it's harrowingSad

It is but it’s very important. Because of victims’ anonymity it’s rare to actually hear first hand accounts of women’s experiences of this, not only the assault but how they get treated by the criminal justice agencies which, sadly can be as damaging as the assault itself. The questioning, not being believed, the case being dropped or a not guilty verdict can all be retraumatising and have long lasting effects.

This video should be shown in training for pp working with rape survivors IMO.

DeleteOrDecay · 24/11/2017 00:09

I totally agree.

Rape is awefull and sad.
But there is much more to it
Please read my article about it and be warned, it might be a bit radical. Enjoy and please debate me
