Which cartoons are actually really good?

We all know the ones which drive us insane (pepper effing pig, Dora, and Max and Ruby for me) but which ones are good?

So far we've really liked:
Troll Hunter
Miraculously Ladybug
Avatar: the last airbender (and legend of korra)

What else can I introduce my son to to try and avoid him binge-watching something which sends me off my rocker?

We love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teen Titans Go and Clarence in this house. They are great fun. 👍🏻 probably like them more than the boy!

EatsFartsAndLeaves · 20/11/2017 12:33

Hey Duggee!

Commuterface · 20/11/2017 12:34

Ben and Holly and Hey Duggie are very funny for adults too.

Netflix and got some old cartoon series’ from my youth like He Man, She Raa and Ghostbusters

Commuterface · 20/11/2017 12:34

Has got*

AllTheWittyNamesAreGone · 20/11/2017 12:36

Teen titans- the songs are brilliant.
We bare bares
Amazing world of gumball

BluthsFrozenBananas · 20/11/2017 12:38

I watch Adventure Time without DD sometimes because I really like it, but it might be a bit too old for your DS. If you do watch it you have to do so from the start or it’s impossible to understand.

clrobson86 · 20/11/2017 12:39

Pocoyo :)

Sparklingbrook · 20/11/2017 12:42

OMG Amazing World of Gumball is soo strange and funny.

The only cartoon I have been quite happy to watch any episode of is Spongebob. My two are teens now but I still have favourite episodes.

IHaveBrilloHair · 20/11/2017 12:43

Rugrats
Almost naked animals

blamethecat · 20/11/2017 12:43

Hey duggee
Ben and holly
Spongebob

Liiinoo · 20/11/2017 22:59

We used to love Hey Arnold and Spongebob but idk if they are still on.

StormyLovesOdd · 21/11/2017 23:17

I like Almost Naked Animals and Spongebob. Can not stand Adventure Time and Uncle Grandpa they are weird and I don’t get the jokes

BloodyExhausted · 21/11/2017 23:19

Phineas and Ferb. I watch it without DS Blush

CourtneyLoveIsMySpiritAnimal · 21/11/2017 23:22

Adventure Time
Gumball
Regular Show

I was always happy to watch those three whether the kids were in the room or not. And they’re all brilliant.

Alltheprettyseahorses · 21/11/2017 23:27

I may watch some of these even when DD is out or in bed

Tangled the series
Sofia the First
Elena of Avalor
Vampirina
My Little Pony
Shimmer and Shine
Ben and Holly (love, love, love Nanny Plum)
and Miraculous Ladybug but that's in your OP.

Oh yeah, and my favourite film is probably Barbie Princess and Popstar if you want something a bit longer.

NattyBatty · 26/11/2017 17:25

Awesome, thanks for the recommendations 😁

Gravity Falls! My younger daughter went through a phase of watching it on a loop. It’s clever and funny and original, I never got sick of watching it. In fact I was sorry went she went off it ...

myusernameisnotmyusername · 30/11/2017 22:14

I love Hey Duggee! It's really funny.

Tigertots · 01/12/2017 00:35

South Park used to be excellent (over 5 years ago); Family Guy still is.

I've been getting into the classic Vicky the Viking (on Youtube); and the reboot, Vic the Viking, is funny.

I'd like to see Rugrats again, actually; what time is it shown, nowadays?

JustDanceAddict · 01/12/2017 07:20

Def Rugrats for a young age.
Almost Naked Animals did my head in.
