They said they'd just have to be brave and act their hearts out!

MrsWho · 15/04/2007 23:17

But neither would want to drop out would they to let the other win

No, they meant they would both be in the show and just have to act bloody well at being in love

MrsWho · 15/04/2007 23:23

Wouldn't like to do that
Though i wouldn't liketo be in Grease either really!

The sister did look a bit (in a sick way) at the idea, but said all the right things ;)

What about the black girl? Dare I say it knowing what MN can be like at times, so first I'm going to state that I'm NOT racist, but a black Sandy just wouldn't work. Well it wouldn't would it? I know they can 'break the mould' and 'come up with a totally different concept' etc. But creating a West End show, particularly this one, where the Producer, David Ian, seems very keen to keep Danny and Sandy as much like the film characters as possible, I can't see them going for it. Personally I thought it was a bit daft of her to audition.

I know what you mean MP

one lady went through who was rather large also (might be the same one?)

she was lovely (and there is nothing wrong with being large!!!!!)

But she seemed a bit out of breath after she had danced!!! and also some of the dance routines may need her to be lifted up

I sometimes think they put some through as they don't want to start getting called racist or not putting over weight people through etc etc But knowingly that they wont be the winner

MummyPenguin · 16/04/2007 11:18

Yes, they'll just 'let them down gently' with a group of others at Bootcamp.

I think they do put some through for fear of being accused of discriminating. I also think though that they put some through who aren't that good so that the decision of who to get rid of is made easier.

But then of course there are those who we think might not have what it takes and could come out on top. did anyone see the guy with a stammer? couldn't even tell the judges his name, and yet as soon as he started singing it was amazing. with some intensive speech therapy this cxperience could change his life - even if he didn't make it through to greece.

Who was knocked out anyway - I missed the end.

Ignore that - it was meant for the Joseph thread
