Just found this on box sets. Season one stars Richard Armitage.

It's based on Chris Ryan's books and involves lots of dare devil SAS type stuff, a bit violent for my usual taste but worth it for RA.

Thanks for the tip off. One RA thing I've never watched.

I loved Strikeback but they’ve just brought out a new series with different main characters and I don’t think the acting standard is anywhere near as good I’m hoping it gets better!!

Hadn't heard that. Shame.

I'm just on series 1 but my understanding is that many of the characters change each time so I suspect RA is only in this one.
