Just watched the pilot episode, thought it looks promising.

I've just binge watched 2 seasons in 2 days... Really enjoyable watch!

Loved it!

It beats Modern Family hands down. Its a shame its not getting the viewers. It was nearly cancelled.

It's on Comedy Central on Sky as well, after the Middle on Tuesday nights at 9.30 - first episode was this week.

Tried casual and parks of recreation but can't get into them.

I loved Casual. Did you try Transparent? Not a comedy as such but it’s about family.

We love it too. I can't remember which season we're on, but it regularly fills the gap for us when there's bugger all on the main channels.

I loved Life in Pieces and also found it funnier than Modern Family. Frenchfancy - it might be worth giving Parks & Recreations another go. I tried a couple of times and couldn't get into it but then my son (13) wanted to watch it so I gave it another go. It's hands-down been the most enjoyed programme in our house for a long time. It does improve after the first few episodes & the characters are very likeable.

The new season starts on Nov 3rd I think. It's shown on terrestrial TV in the US so you have to wait for a new episode each Friday. Which at least will stop me bingeing

I think it’s a shame it’s not available on dvd it would be a great Xmas gift. I can’t imagine any of them going down the surgery route like Modern Family. The grandpa is so handsome!

Grandpa is James Brolin, married to Barbra Streisand.

Worked my way through to series 3 and love it. The rivalry between Matt and Greg is hilarious. And Tim heather' s husband 😂. Sophia is brilliant.
