What's your verdict?

didn't actually watch the programme, just oggled Martin Shaw lots

I enjoyed it, but that may have been something to do with swooning over Richard Armitage .

Thought some of the issues (corruption etc.) were interesting, and hope it gets a series (this was a pilot apparently - there are lots of other novels to do if it is successful).

What about you, MT?

monkeytrousers · 11/04/2007 07:17

Oh, was that Guy of Gisburn?

I loved it. Nice soft Durham accents instead of hard Geordie for a change.

I quite fancied that sidekick bloke - modelled on John Sim I thought.

Was it only a pilot? Aw, I was looking forward to seeing it next week. I know my MIL and SIL would love it too!

Beautiful Irish locations too - literally the best of both worlds.

Monkeytrousers, well he did play Vic Tyler so maybe he was 'influenced' by that!

Really? God, our telly has gotten so incestuous!

I mean, are Angela Griffith and Patsy Kensit in a competition to appear in everything?
